Abstract: A delivery system for distributing water to plant tissue, such as the root ball of a living plant. A hollow delivery tube is provided having a receiving end and an insertion end. The delivery tube is at least partially perforated having side walls although other embodiments are contemplated. A gelatinous moisturizing agent is introduced within the delivery tube which acts to release water to the plant tissue in a time release fashion.

Abstract: The present invention relates to topical formulations used for treating allergic and inflammatory diseases. In one exemplary embodiment, the invention obtains a print mask, determines a likelihood that an individual ink ejection nozzle will produce a low drop volume, determining a correction factor, and compensates for the low drop volume. The low drop volume may be compensated by increasing the drop intensity, modifying the print mask, or combinations of both.

Abstract: In an implementation of a configurable H-bridge circuit, a high switch is connected to a voltage source and a low switch is connected to ground. The configurable H-bridge circuit includes a first configuration as a motor drive circuit in which the high switch and the low switch are connected together and coupled to drive a motor. The configurable H-bridge circuit also includes a second configuration in which the high switch and the low switch are each configured as a discrete switch that can be coupled as a component switch.

Abstract: An adjustable mount used for mounting equipment of the type used aboard marine or other water-borne craft. The mount itself is mounted to the ship, and has as its main components a hollow, cylindrical C-extrusion, adjustable slide brackets, and mounting brackets. The C-shaped bases of the slide brackets are housed within the hollow center of the C extrusion. Equipment is mounted to the slide brackets, which can be adjusted either up or down on their own axis or laterally across the length of the C extrusion. The mounting brackets secure the entire assembly to the boat structure and serve as an adjustment mechanism for the C-extrusion.

For each command in the hard disk drive command queue, an expected access time is calculated including a probability of success calculation. For an estimated seek time of less than a time for one full revolution, a probability of a miss multiplied by a time of one extra revolution is calculated and the result is added to an estimated seek time to provide the expected access time. For an estimated seek time of greater than a time for one full revolution, a probability of a make multiplied by a time of one extra revolution is calculated and the result is subtracted from an estimated seek time to provide the expected access time.
