  • Patent number: 8097381
Abstract: A solid oxide fuel cell generator is provided for electrochemically reacting a fuel gas with a flowing oxidant gas at an elevated temperature to produce power. The generator includes a generator section receiving a fuel gas and a plurality of elongated fuel cells extending through the generator section and having opposing open fuel cell ends for directing an oxidant gas between opposing plena in the generator. A sealant defines a seal on the fuel cells adjacent at least one of the fuel cell ends. The sealant is a modified lanthanum borate aluminosilicate glass composition having a minimal amount of boron oxide and silica, and in which the sealant maintains substantially constant physical characteristics throughout multiple thermal cycles.

  • Publication number: 20120002600
Abstract: The embodiments of the present invention disclose a system for data communications, a router, and a method for data transmission and mobility management. The method for data transmission includes: receiving, by a first AR, data; identifying the transmission route based on the results of querying the local mapping information base; and transmitting data, where the local mapping information base stores the mappings between IDs and LLs. The embodiments of the present invention completely separate the ID, LL, and GL of the terminal, and thus solve the problems with the routing table expansion and scalability faced by the Internet. In this way, the terminal data can be transmitted without changing the terminal or the routing protocol stack; in addition, the hierarchical mapping helps reduces the amount of locally and globally stored information, and thus accelerating the query.

Abstract: A fuel cell for a fuel cell generator including a housing including a gas flow path for receiving a fuel from a fuel source and directing the fuel across the fuel cell. The fuel cell includes an elongate member including opposing first and second ends and defining an interior cathode portion and an exterior anode portion. The interior cathode portion includes an electrode in contact with an oxidant flow path. The exterior anode portion includes an electrode in contact with the fuel in the gas flow path. The anode portion includes a catalyst material for effecting fuel reformation along the fuel cell between the opposing ends. A fuel reformation control layer is applied over the catalyst material for reducing a rate of fuel reformation on the fuel cell. Abstract: The present invention relates to mobile communication technologies, and discloses a method and an apparatus for registration, communication, and handover of a Mobile Node (MN). The present invention is intended to overcome the bottlenecks of data traffic and processing capability in the home network in the prior art. A distributed mobility management system is provided herein. The system includes at least two Mobility Management Anchors (MMAs): any two MMAs are interconnected; at least one terminal exists in each MMA connection; each MMA stores a terminal binding relationship table; and the terminal binding relationship table records identifiers (IDs) and Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of terminals. The distributed mobility management system under the present invention can balance load, improve the data processing capability, simplify the signaling interaction in various procedures, and improve the system processing capability.

  • Publication number: 20100295199
Abstract: A method of improving energy consumption and/or melt quality of injection molding or extrusion machine can include controlling energy input to the melt from screw drive and heat sources. One or more sensors can measure a present value of at least one process parameter associated with the melt. A control algorithm can compare the present value of melt with a set value. If the present value deviates from the set value by more than a predetermined amount, the set value of at least one operating parameter can be adjusted. The algorithm can determine energy transferred to melt material from thermal and mechanical sources, and adjust set values to optimize energy consumption or improve melt quality. Process parameters can include melt temperature, melt quality characterized value, prospective throughput or injection cycle time, or prospective energy consumption value.
