  • Patent number: 11951006
Abstract: A prosthetic heart valve has a plurality of valve leaflets that control directional flow of blood through a heart and a stent structure having a plurality of commissure posts supporting the valve leaflets. The stent structure has a covering over the plurality of commissure posts and has a sewing ring at an inflow end of the stent structure. Each of the plurality of commissure posts has a tip and a suture loop is attached to the covering at a location adjacent to or on the tip of the commissure post. Each suture loop provides a passage for a suture to pass through between the covering and the suture loop.

  • Publication number: 20210333423
Abstract: An acoustic monitoring system characterizes, classifies, and geo-locates anthropogenic and natural sounds in near real time. The system includes a compact array of three acoustic vector sensors, which measures acoustic pressure and the three-dimensional particle velocity vector associated with the propagation of an acoustic wave, thereby inherently providing bearing information to an underwater source of sound. Beamforming techniques provide sound source localization, allowing for characterization of the acoustic signature of specific underwater acoustic sources.

  • Patent number: 11079368
Abstract: The invention is directed towards a method and system for optically-based monitoring of chemicals of potential concern (COPCs), including mercury (Hg), methyl mercury (MeHg), and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs). It employs a multi-parameter statistical analysis model, such as partial least square regression (PLS regression), to identify combinations of predictors (e.g., optical, water quality, and physical properties) that have large covariance with the response values. The predictive model is validated against analytic samples from laboratories. The steps in the method are repeated until predictors, or parameters are selected that avoid over-fitting and which yield physically-based results.

  • Patent number: 10879342
Abstract: A multi-terminal inductor and method for forming the multi-terminal inductor are provided. In some embodiments, an interconnect structure is arranged over a semiconductor substrate. A passivation layer is arranged over the interconnect structure. A first magnetic layer is arranged over the passivation layer, and a conductive wire laterally extends from a first input/output (I/O) bond structure at a first location to a second I/O bond structure at a second location. A third I/O bond structure branches off of the conductive wire at a third location between the first location and the second location. A connection between the third I/O bond structure and the first I/O bond structure has a first inductance. Alternatively, a connection between the first I/O bond structure and the second I/O bond structure has a second inductance different than the first inductance.

  • Publication number: 20200152304
Abstract: A system for providing therapies from voice-based journaling, the system includes a processor, and a memory communicatively coupled to the processor. The memory itself includes a journaling logic to receive a plurality of voice journal entries from a user. The received voice journal entries include at least voice data and contextual data. An analyzer logic is also included to extract textual data from the plurality of voice journal entries, generate a sentiment analysis score based on the textual data, generate an emotional classification score based on the voice data, the textual data and the contextual data, and determine user recommendations as therapies based on the sentiment analysis score, emotional classification score, voice data, textual data, and contextual data. A user interface logic then displays the user recommendations to the user and can receive, from the user, feedback data associated with the user recommendation to be used in future user recommendations.
