  • Publication number: 20240144431
Abstract: In particular embodiments, a computing system may capture a first image of a scene using a first camera of an artificial reality device. The system may capture a second image of the scene using a second camera and one or more optical elements of the artificial reality device. The second image may include an overlapping portion of multiple shifted copies of the scene. The system may generate an upsampled first image by applying a particular sampling technique to the first image. The system may generate a tiled image comprising a plurality of repeated second images by applying a tiling process to the second image. The system may generate an initial output image by processing the upsampled first image and the tiled image using a machine learning model. The system may generate a final output image by normalizing the initial output image using the upsampled first image.

  • Publication number: 20240091300
Abstract: Provided are methods and compositions from reprogramming human glial cells into human neurons. The reprogramming is achieved using combinations of compounds that can modify signaling via Transforming growth factor beta (TGF-?), Bone morphogenetic protein (BMP), glycogen synthase kinase 3 (GSK-3), and ?-secretase/Notch pathways. The reprogramming is demonstrated using groups of three or four compounds that are chosen from the group thiazovivin, LDN193189, SB431542, TTNPB, CHIR99021, DAPT, VPA, SAG, purmorphamine. Reprogramming is demonstrated using the group of LDN193189/CHIR99021/DAPT, the group of B431542/CHIR99021/DAPT, the group of LDN193189/DAPT/SB431542, the group of LDN193189/CHIR99021/SB431542, a three drug combination of SB431542/CHIR99021/DAPT. • Patent number: 11283839
Abstract: Predicting access impact of a plurality of rule changes on a corpus of information assets is provided. A set of affected rules in a new rule space for controlling access to the corpus of information assets is received. The set of affected rules is shredded to identify right-hand side terms contained in predication blocks of the set of affected rules. An enforcement knowledge graph is traversed to identify a set of hot information assets having same terms as the right-hand side terms of the set of affected rules. • Patent number: 10545099
Abstract: Disclosed are apparatus and methods for detecting defects on a semiconductor sample. An optical inspector is first used to inspect a semiconductor sample with an aggressively predefined threshold selected to detect candidate defect and nuisance sites at corresponding locations across the sample. A high-resolution distributed probe inspector includes an array of miniature probes that are moved relative to the sample to scan and obtain a high-resolution image of each site to detect and separate the candidate defect sites from the nuisance sites. A higher-resolution probe is then used to obtain a higher-resolution image of each candidate site to obtain a high-resolution image of each site to separate real defects that adversely impact operation of any devices on the sample from the candidate defects.

  • Patent number: 10527568
Abstract: This disclosure relates to methods and devices to count particles of interest, such as cells. The methods include obtaining a fluid sample that may contain particles of interest; counting all types of particles in a portion of the sample using a first electrical differential counter to generate a first total; removing any particles of interest from the portion of the fluid sample; counting any particles remaining in the portion of the fluid sample using a second electrical differential counter after the particles of interest are removed to generate a second total; and calculating a number of particles of interest originally in the fluid sample by subtracting the second total from the first total, wherein the difference is the number of particles of interest in the sample. These methods and related devices can be used, for example, to produce a robust, inexpensive diagnostic kit for CD4+ T cell counting in whole blood samples.
