  • Publication number: 20160228878
Abstract: A crusher with one stationary jaw and one movable jaw, the movable jaw is moved by a cam at the top of the jaw, in the well known manner of jaw crushers. The cam shaft is adapted to be driven with a conventional square drive lever. A dual purpose bolt, transversely behind and against an upper portion of the stationary jaw, serves as a re-active stop and as a pinch bolt to clamp the stationary jaw between the side plates. The upper ends of the front legs abut a lower portion of the stationary jaw, thereby serving as legs and re-active members for the stationary jaw. A transparent Poly-carbonate feed opening cover is secured to the tops of the side plates with magnets.

  • Patent number: 9161764
Abstract: A hinged pivoting guide for positioning a femoral tunnel in anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction locates a drilling hole for placement that optimally penetrates a minimal depth of soft tissue (skin, muscle, etc.) yet directs drilling into a sufficiently rigid and structurally sound area of the femur. The hinged guide allows placement of an aimer point at a desired drilling exit location on the femur. The hinge is adapted to secure the aimer at a degree of rotation about an axis defined by the hinge rotation, such that the axis passes through the aimer point throughout rotation of the hinge while maintaining the aimer point in line with an insertion guide slideably movable through the aperture in the handle, the aperture defined by an insertion axis extending toward the aimer point such that the aimer point remains disposed at the intersection of the hinge axis and the insertion axis.

  • Patent number: 9069818
Abstract: A textual search index is used to identify data objects that have numerical properties that satisfy search queries. As described herein, a search index contains search index entries, each of which specifies a reference string and a set of data object identifiers. When an original search query is received, the search query is transformed into a transformed search query such that numerical comparison query elements in the original search query are transformed into equivalent textual comparison query elements. The search index is then used to identify ones of the data objects that satisfy the transformed search query. A list of the identified data objects may then be provided in response to the original search query.

  • Publication number: 20150162144
Abstract: A method of switching taps by an on-load tap changer includes providing at least two fingers each comprising an impedance and a mechanical switch. When first and second mechanical switches of the first and second fingers are closed, they provide a connection between the first and second impedances of the first and second fingers and a power terminal of the on-load tap changer. The on-load tap changer is triggered to shift at least one of the fingers from a first tap to a second tap of the on-load tap changer when a tap change signal is received. A solid state switch connected between the first and second impedances is switched on to commutate a current from the first finger to the second finger during the tap change operation.
