  • Publication number: 20210268632
Abstract: A release tool for use with a push-fit valve includes a fixed member and a movable member. The fixed member includes: a central portion defining a base aperture, the central portion being rotatably fixed relative to the valve when a valve lever base is received in the base aperture; and a guiding arm extending from a side of the central portion so as to extend along a side of a valve body. The movable member defines: a conduit aperture configured for a conduit to extend therethrough during use; and a guiding aperture receiving the guiding arm of the fixed member. To disconnect the conduit from the valve, the movable member is moved from the first position to the second position to push the release collar inwardly into the valve, causing a grab ring of the valve to release the conduit. The movable member is selectively retained in the second position.

  • Patent number: 11105565
Abstract: A heat exchanger assembly has a frame including: a plurality of legs; first and second lower transversal members extending perpendicular to and interconnecting the legs; a plurality of upstanding members extending upwardly from respective ones of the legs, a lower end of each upstanding member being connected to a corresponding leg at a junction therebetween; an upper transversal member interconnecting upper ends of the upstanding members; and an upper frame assembly. The frame components are weldlessly connected to one another. First and second heat exchanger panels exchange heat with air pulled into the heat exchanger assembly and are disposed in a V-configuration. An upper end of each heat exchanger panel is connected to upper retaining members of the upper frame assembly. A fan pulls air into the enclosed space of the heat exchanger assembly via at least one of the heat exchanger panels.

  • Publication number: 20210068300
Abstract: A cooling arrangement for autonomous cooling of a rack hosting components and fans comprises a closed loop and an open loop. Liquid cooling is used in the closed loop to transfer heat from heat-generating units of the components to a primary side of a liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger. An air-to-liquid cooling unit is used in the open loop to absorb heat expelled from the rack by the fans. A liquid from a cold supply line is first heated to some degree in the air-to-liquid cooling unit before reaching a secondary side of the liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger. The primary side being hotter than the secondary side, heat is transferred from the primary side to the secondary side of the liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger. The liquid is expelled at a higher temperature from the secondary side to a hot return line.

  • Patent number: 10904294
Abstract: This disclosure facilitates managing lost devices. In some embodiments, a system receives a first device type from a first agent on a first device, and a different second device type from a second agent on a second device. The system receives a first group associated with the first device and a different second group associated with the second device. The system determines that the first device and the second device are lost and accesses a database storing first and second configuration classes associated with the first and second devices, respectively. The system creates first and second device-dependent classes based on the first and second device types and the first and second configuration classes, respectively. The system melds the first device-dependent class into a first melded profile and the second device-dependent class into a second melded profile, using the respective groups, and applies the melded profiles to the corresponding device.

  • Patent number: 10732214
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and devices for identifying a location of a fault in a hybrid high voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission system having a ground or underground cable section and an overhead line section. Some methods comprise determining whether a characteristic voltage oscillation is present at a cable side terminal of the HVDC transmission system, and in response, determining that the fault is located in the overhead line section. Some methods comprise determining whether a characteristic current oscillation or a terminal current exceeding a peak current threshold is present at an overhead line side terminal, and in response, determining that the fault is located in the overhead line section. The methods can be communication-less, wherein the actions are based on local measurements and/or are performed locally to where the fault is located or detected.

  • Patent number: 10418163
Abstract: A device with a combined unbalanced current sensor and solenoid coil is provided. The device includes a core (116). The core (116) comprises a ferromagnetic material. The core (116) substantially surrounds a first conductor (102) and a second conductor (104) that conduct power to and from a load (106). The device includes a coil (118) that is wrapped around at least a portion of the core (116), such that an unbalanced current between the first and second conductors (102, 104) creates a first magnetic field that induces a first voltage on the coil (118). The coil (118) is positioned adjacent to a mechanical action part (124), such that application of a second voltage to the coil (118) creates a second magnetic field that influences the mechanical action part (124) to move from a first position to a second position that electrically disconnects the load (106) from a power source, such that the coil (118) serves as both an unbalanced current sensor coil and a solenoid coil.
