  • Patent number: 10948916
Abstract: A method and system for automatically implementing vehicular implemented projection improvement process is provided. The method includes directing flying vehicles to a location comprising a projection apparatus. The vehicles are directed such that each vehicle is periodically positioned within a perimeter surrounding the location with respect to multiple lines of sight of the projection device. The location is monitored and obstructions and associated positions with respect to each line of sight are determined. Resulting parameters associated with the projection device, weather conditions, projection content, and the obstructions and associated positions are determined and a virtual visibility fence associated with an area for viewing the projection content on the projection device is generated. Specified projection content for projecting on a specified portion of the projection device is determined and projected.

  • Patent number: 10935980
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide techniques for automated replacement of components in a datacenter. A robot is instructed to follow a route to replace parts within a datacenter. Embodiments include predicting a failure rate for a plurality of computer components within a datacenter. A failure time is then predicted for the computer components based on the corresponding failure rate. A route is created that allows the robot to visit the one or more racks containing the computer components that need to be replaced. The robot then replaces the components that require replacing. In this way, datacenter efficiency is improved and operating costs are reduced.

Abstract: Methods, computer program products, and systems are presented. The methods include, for instance: predicting an upcoming communication content in a current channel based on learning input data from a plurality of sources relevant to a communication activity of a user. A user response to the predicted content is assessed and a communication channel model for the factors including the input data is selected. A user satisfaction level with the current channel is checked against a predefined threshold for the selected communication channel model. For the current channel that is less than satisfactory, an adaptive action is taken to adapt the current channel to another for the user.

  • Patent number: 10904338
Abstract: A computer controls deduplication of data. The computer generates a hash of a remote data and a hash of a local data. The computer generates a set of unmatched hash data based on a comparison of the hash of the remote data against the hash of the local data. The computer generates a splitting cost that is associated with splitting the set of unmatched hash data. The computer sends a request to a server based on a comparison of the splitting cost to a threshold. The request dictates sending of the remote data to a storage controller.
