  • Publication number: 20230385722
Abstract: Systems and techniques for goal optimized process scheduler are described herein. A set of processes may be obtained from a plurality of process engines. Process data may be identified for each member of the set of processes. Goal data may be obtained for a goal. The goal data may indicate elements for attainment of the goal by completion of one or more processes of the set of processes. A process schedule may be generated for the set of processes based on the goal data. The process schedule may be optimized through removal of processes from the process schedule by comparison of the process data to the goal data. The optimized process schedule may include a linear organization of processes for attainment of the goal. An optimized process schedule workflow may be created for display on a user interface of a computing device.

  • Publication number: 20230328500
Abstract: A computing system makes a first preliminary determination that a user of an ear-wearable device is experiencing a potential medical event based on first signals generated by first sensors. The computing system may make a second preliminary determination that the user is experiencing the potential medical event based on a user response captured by the ear-wearable device. The computing system may further determine that the user is experiencing the potential medical event based on both the first preliminary determination and the second preliminary determination. In response to determining that the user is experiencing the potential medical event, the computing system may cause the ear-wearable device to send a wireless communication request to a plurality of companion devices. Furthermore, in response to the wireless communication request being accepted by a companion device, the computing system may send user data via a communication link.

  • Patent number: 11758338
Abstract: Disclosed herein, among other things, are systems and methods for authentication and encryption key exchange with an ALD for hearing device applications. A method includes receiving an acoustic input at a microphone of a hearing device, and receiving a wireless signal over a wireless link from an assistive listening device (ALD) at an antenna of the hearing device, the wireless signal including digital audio information. The acoustic input is compared to the digital audio information using a processor of the hearing device. Upon determining that the acoustic input and the digital audio information are correlated at a threshold level, the processor is used to create and distribute an encryption key to the ALD to secure the wireless link. The ALD may include a processor for correlating the input and the information, and for creating and distributing the encryption key, in some embodiments.

  • Patent number: 11748410
Abstract: Embodiments as disclosed herein provide a search system with an pre-indexing filter that provides both a sophisticated and contextually tailored approach to filtering documents and a corrector that is adapted to alter a document that has been designated to be filtered out from the indexing process and determine if the altered document should be indexed. The alteration of the document may be tied to the attributes, rules or thresholds used to initially filter the document from the indexing process. The filtering criteria can thus be tailored to a specific context such that both the initial filtering and the alteration process may be better suited for application in that context.

  • Publication number: 20230263922
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to apparatuses and methods for cleaning and disinfecting probes. A cleaner is utilized to remove foreign materials (e.g., bioburden, soil, and other like material) from the probe after it is removed from the patient by soaking and/or flushing the foreign materials from the probe. The cleaner may be an enzymatic detergent that has bacteriostatic properties to inhibit bacterial growth within the apparatus. The multiple enzymes in the cleaner attack the foreign material, and include low-foam properties for effective recirculation across cycles within the cleaning step. The probe is rinsed after the cleaning step, and after rinsing a disinfectant process is applied to the probe. The disinfectant soaks and/or flushes the probe for a specified amount of time across cycles of recirculation to disinfect the surface of the probe, and afterwards the probe is rinsed thoroughly to remove the disinfectant from the probe.
