  • Patent number: 11997474
Abstract: A spatial audio processing system operable to enable audio signals to be spatially extracted from, or transmitted to, discrete locations within an acoustic space. Embodiments of the present disclosure enable an array of transducers being installed in an acoustic space to combine their signals via inverting physical and environmental models that are measured, learned, tracked, calculated, or estimated. The models may be combined with a whitening filter to establish a cooperative or non-cooperative information-bearing channel between the array and one or more discrete, targeted physical locations in the acoustic space by applying the inverted models with whitening filter to the received or transmitted acoustical signals. The spatial audio processing system may utilize a model of the combination of direct and indirect reflections in the acoustic space to receive or transmit acoustic information, regardless of ambient noise levels, reverberation, and positioning of physical interferers.

  • Publication number: 20240156608
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system for augmentation of a tibial component. The system includes an augmentation component having a first porous structure, a second porous structure, a top portion having a top surface, and a bottom portion having a bottom surface arranged opposite the augmentation component from the top surface. The system also includes a tibial component and an instrument, with the tibial component being configured to couple to the augmentation component. The instrument includes an engagement portion having a geometry complimentary to that of the augmentation component. Further, a method of augmenting a tibial component is disclosed with the steps of collecting imaging data from a patient, identifying a void in the distal tibia, obtaining an augmentation component that corresponds to the void, coupling the augmentation component to the tibial component and implanting the tibial component into the tibia so the augmentation component occupies the tibial void.

  • Publication number: 20240131545
Abstract: A discrete product refill container and a rigid outer shell container. The refill container includes a product chamber and a fitment secured thereto. The fitment includes a ledge which is suitable for resting on a ledge of the rigid outer shell container while permitting the product chamber to pass into the shell interiorly to the ledge. It may also include a rim for grasping by transfer equipment. The fitment includes a destructive cover, i.e., one which cannot readily be re-closed, so that the consumer can easily make the product within the refill available for pumping, as desired. The rigid outer shell container can be snap fit closed. The refill bottle may be a pouch or a thin walled bottle, with a fitment. The fitment may serve to support the bottle in an inverted position for display or storage. The refill bottle may also include an integral ledge for support in the rigid outer shell container, instead of a discrete fitment.

  • Publication number: 20230058578
Abstract: The present techniques relate to various aspects of forming and filling high-aspect ratio trench structures (e.g., trench structures having an aspect ratio of 20 or greater, including aspect ratios in the range of 20:1 up to and including 50:1 or greater) combined with trench opening widths ranging from 0.5 micron to 50 microns. In one implementation a method to fabricate high-aspect ratio trenches in silicon is provided using a patterned photoresist on evaporated aluminum. In accordance with this approach, a high-aspect ratio trench can be formed having vertical side walls and defect-free trench bottoms. In some instances it may be desirable to fill such high-aspect ratio trench structures with a metal or other substrate to provide certain functionality associated with the fill material. Further processes and structures are related in which such trench structures are filled using a mixture of high-Z nano-particles within an epoxy resin matrix.
