  • Patent number: 10821662
Abstract: Various embodiments related to three dimensional printers, and reinforced filaments, and their methods of use are described. In one embodiment, a void free reinforced filament is fed into an extrusion nozzle. The reinforced filament includes a core, which may be continuous or semi-continuous, and a matrix material surrounding the core. The reinforced filament is heated to a temperature greater than a melting temperature of the matrix material and less than a melting temperature of the core prior to extruding the filament from the extrusion nozzle.

  • Patent number: 10805364
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve systems, methods, computer program products, and the like, for routing one or more requests to join or initiate a collaboration conference based on at least an identifier of a requesting device. In one embodiment, a telecommunications network obtains an identifier, such as the telephone number, of a device requesting to join or initiate a collaboration conference. The identifying information is then compared to a database of user accounts maintained by the network. The network may then prompt the user of the requesting device to join a particular conferencing bridge or provide particular conferencing features based on the one or more preferences associated with the user's account. A response to the prompt may be received and then acted upon by the network to connect the requesting device to a collaboration conference and/or provide the one or more conferencing features to the requesting device.

  • Publication number: 20200311241
Abstract: A secure, remote support platform allows secure, remote device support with an edge device (101) and a trusted intermediary server resource (“trusted server”). The trusted server (113) is an endpoint for secure connections with a support application used by a remote technician and with the edge device. The secure connections carry messages with inputs, data requests, and feedback. Messages between the trusted server and support edge device are secured in a manner that allows each endpoint to validate the messages. The remote technician controls the edge device to assesses a target device connected to the edge device. The edge device presents emulated peripheral devices to the target device while capturing the target device desktop with a camera or presents remotely controlled peripherals and returns screen captures or updates of the desktop from the target device.

  • Patent number: 10787866
Abstract: A chain of bend-limiter segments is coupled together. The chain has a first end and a second end. The chain is bendable such that an angle between the first end and the second end is at least N degrees and a radius of curvature of the chain is at least M. A cable is inserted through the chain from the first end to the second end. The chain and the cable are coupled to a tool. The tool is pulled using the cable. The chain maintains a radius of curvature of the cable greater than M and prevents a stress level in the cable from exceeding a yield point.

  • Patent number: 10791256
Abstract: An apparatus, including cameras; a microphone; a speaker; a processor; a display; a touchscreen keyboard; a global positioning system; and a collision avoidance sensor. The processor detects a texting, e-mail, game or gaming, or speakerphone, operational mode and activates a camera to display a view in front of, or an anticipated travel path of movement of the apparatus. The global positioning system determines a position or location of the apparatus. The processor determines whether or not the apparatus is located outside of a safe area of travel. If the apparatus is outside of the safe area of travel, the processor activates a camera to record a picture or video at the location of the apparatus, and generates a notification message containing the picture or video, or a link thereto. The apparatus transmits the notification message to a communication device associated with an authorized individual or law enforcement personnel.

  • Publication number: 20200293477
Abstract: A remote technical support system includes an edge device that operates as a highly secured conduit for a technician to view, access, and control a target device via a secure protocol over a connection medium between the edge device and the target device. The edge device's architecture allows it to selectively present numerous peripheral devices to the target device. The architectural components of the edge device can be controlled by a technician through a secure connection with a trusted server which allows authorized to access the edge device. The edge device also relays technician commands to and obtains diagnostic information from the target device and communicates feedback to the technician over the secure connection. The commands may be relayed to the target via the one or more selectively connected USB peripherals.
