Abstract: An abrasive article can include an abrasive aggregate with the abrasive aggregate having a plurality of silicon carbide particles bonded together by a binder material. The binder material can include a vitreous phase material, a crystalline phase material, or both. In an embodiment, the crystalline phase material can include an aluminosilicate material. In a particular embodiment, abrasive aggregates can be formed from a mixture including silicon carbide particles, a binder material, and a liquid carrier. The mixture can be formed into a number of green granules that are vibrated and heated on a platen. In an illustrative embodiment, the green granules can then be heated to form abrasive aggregates.

Abstract: A power supply includes an alternating current (AC)/direct current (DC) converter, a control unit, and a selection switch. The AC/DC converter is connected to an AC power source to convert an AC voltage into a DC voltage. The control unit includes a controller and a switch. The selection switch is connected to the controller, and connected between the AC converter and the power module of a motherboard to connect the AC converter to either the power module or the controller. When the AC/DC converter is connected to the controller, the controller receives the DC voltage to be started, the controller turns on the switch for a predetermined connection time to make the DC voltage be input to the power module, and then turns off the switch for a predetermined disconnection time to make the DC voltage fail to be input to the power module.

Abstract: An exemplary testing device includes a RAID unit including under test disk drives, a replacing unit including a reserve disk drive, a switching unit, a state recognition unit and a control unit. The switching unit includes buttons corresponding to the under test disk drives, respectively. Each of the buttons is switched between a first position in which a corresponding under test disk drive is in connection with the RAID unit and a second position in which the corresponding under test disk drive is disconnected from the RAID unit. The state recognition unit outputs status signals corresponding to the under test disk drives, respectively. The control unit receives the status signals from the state recognition unit and controls the reserve disk drive to successfully begin to work in replacement of the disconnected under test disk drive for rebuilding the RAID unit. The display unit displays a testing result thereon.

Abstract: A computer includes an enclosure, a network card connected to an external network, a time limit control device, a power module, and a switch. The time limit control device is used to set a connection time of the computer with the external network, and control a network switch module to enable the network card to connect the computer to the external network according the set connection time. The time limit control device is used to count down the connection time, and control a display module to display a remaining connection time. When a countdown of the connection time is zero, the time limit control device controls the network switch module to disable the network card and thereby disconnecting the computer from the external network.

The first connection module includes eight first interfaces configured for connecting to a plurality of respective adaptors of a network server. The second connection module includes eight second interfaces configured for connecting to a switch. The teaming control module includes eight first switches, each of which is connected to a corresponding first interface. The connection control module includes eight second switches and a control unit. Each of the second switches is interposed between a corresponding first switch and a corresponding second interface. The control unit is configured for detecting which first switches are turned on and turning on the second switches corresponding to the first switches which are turned on for a predetermined time period.

Abstract: The invention relates to a benzisoxazolyl piperidine derivative having the following general formula, a salt or a hydrate thereof, wherein R, X, Y, R? and T are defined as in the specification. Such compounds have serotonin system modulating effects such as antagonizing effect on 5-HT2A and inhibitory effect on 5-HT reuptake. The compounds have good analgesic and sedative activities with mild toxic and side effects. The invention also relates to a composition comprising said derivative and the use thereof.

Abstract: The invention relates to a substituted phenylpiperazine aryl alkanol derivative represented by the following general formula and its salt and hydrate, wherein C1 and C2 represent chiral carbon atoms, and the compound is one of the six isomers: (1RS, 2SR), (1RS, 2RS), (1R, 2S), (1S, 2S), (1R, 2R) or (1S, 2R); and R, R1, R2, R3 and Ar are as defined in the specification. Each terrace of the plurality or terraces presents a lattice constant that substantially matches a lattice constant of the material, and each step riser presents a step height and offset that is consistent with portions of the material nucleating on adjacent terraces being in substantial crystalline match at the step riser. The method also includes preparing a substrate by exposing the crystal plane; and epitaxially growing the material on the substrate such that the portions of the material nucleating on adjacent terraces merge into a single crystal lattice without defects at the step risers.
