  • Publication number: 20190134925
Abstract: An improved liner for a container in which gases, liquids, or powders are stored. The liner is a multi-layer structure made in a roto molding machine. The liner includes a first outer layer made of metallocene polyethylene, an intermediate gas and liquid impermeable layer, and one or more inner layers made of thermoplastic material compatible with the material stored inside the container. During the molding process, the three layers are made sequentially with the second and third layers being bonded and fused to the adjacent layer to form a uniform composite layer. The outer layer is made of metallocene polyethylene with superior rigidity and relatively low coefficient of thermal expansion making the liner less susceptible to cracking and useful as a layup structure for molding a structure around it. The liner is then used as a layup structure for outer fibers and infused resin.

  • Publication number: 20180312259
Abstract: A vibration filter mechanism between a fuselage and a piece of equipment of the aircraft. The filter mechanism comprises a pair of filter members, each secured with a first structure that is to be connected to the fuselage and with a second structure of the piece of equipment. Each filter member is secured with the first structure via a first pivot type connection having one degree of freedom to move in rotation and with the second structure via a second pivot type connection having one degree of freedom to move in rotation. The filter mechanism includes resilient return means for deforming during relative movement in rotation between at least one of the filter members and the first structure. The resilient return means presents a predetermined stiffness suitable for generating a return force opposing the relative movement in rotation between at least one of the filter members and the first structure.

  • Publication number: 20150197762
Abstract: The present invention relates to a promoter sequence specific for expression of genes of interest in fruit endosperm. The invention further describes DNA constructs that contain the promoter, as well as the method using such constructs to produce transgenic plants, plant cells or protoplasts. The expression of the transgene only in the organ of interest enables accumulation of the exogenous transcript only in the fruit and constitutes an advantage over the constitutive expression, since it favors implementation of strategies that aim at obtaining cultivars having higher aggregate value like: adaptation to environmental stress, tolerance to pathogens, pests and agricultural defensives, increase in the nutritional and therapeutic value and a new alternative to systems of expression in plant organism, generating more competitive cultivars at lower costs.
