  • Publication number: 20070123442
Abstract: A liquid product comprising dispersed perfumed capsules and a thickening system which is a combination of non-ionic with cationic polymers. This allows a prolonged storage of the perfuming capsules without alteration of the latter and without the need to shake the composition before use in order to obtain an homogeneous composition of capsules. This further allows improved deposition of both the fragranced microcapsules and the cationic conditioning polymers onto target surfaces from rinse-off products.

  • Publication number: 20060205617
Abstract: A packaged product that includes a surfactant-containing base on the one hand and a reactive perfumed capsule-containing base on the other hand, held in physically separated compartments. The physical separation allows a prolonged storage of the perfuming base without alteration of the latter.

  • Publication number: 20060193812
Abstract: A perfuming composition for application to the skin by means of a roll-on, pump-spray, squeeze bottle or aerosol spray type device. The composition includes a perfuming base and, optionally, a deodorant or antiperspirant base, with at least one of the bases being combined with a film-forming substrate and an emulsifier so as to form an emulsion. The emulsion, once dried on the skin, provides for in-situ encapsulation of the perfuming base so as to prevent release of the latter until a surge of skin perspiration or contact with a moisture source takes place, and for in-situ re-encapsulation of the perfuming base upon the subsequent drying of the skin. The film-forming substrate is preferably an acrylates/hydroxyacrylates copolymer that is used with other components or that is used alone.

  • Patent number: 6806250
Abstract: The invention concerns a fatty alcohol obtainable by a method which consists in reducing the carbonyl function of a vegetable or animal oil, the method consisting in reacting said vegetable or animal oil with appropriate amounts of polymethylhydroxysiloxane (PMHS) in the presence of a catalytic system prepared from a metal salt or complex and a reduction agent, followed by hydrolysis of the resulting siloxane with a basic agent and separating and purifying the desired alcohol thus formed. Said alcohol can be used in a perfume composition, in particular as solubilizing agent.
