    Abstract: A retraction device includes a housing and a driving element guided in the housing between a parked position and an end position. A first end of a spring energy accumulator is connected to the housing. The spring energy accumulator is loaded to a maximum operating value when the driving element is in the parked position and is unloaded to a residual energy value when the driving element is in the end position. A second end of the spring energy accumulator can either be fixed to the housing or coupled to the driving element by means of a bistable coupling. The coupling has a blocking element that can be moved between the housing and the driving element.

Each driving element is displaceably mounted in a respective guide housing. A sliding door has such a retraction device, and a sliding door arrangement has such a sliding door. Each driving element is coupled or can be coupled to a cylinder-piston unit mounted in the respective guide housing. Both guide housings are adjustable relative to one another in the longitudinal direction of the retraction device by means of at least one sliding joint. This provides a retraction device for two end positions, which can be used for a range of door widths without design modifications.

    Abstract: A cylinder-piston unit with load-dependent damping includes a piston longitudinally displaceable in a cylinder. The piston has a first piston channel and a second piston channel, which each connect a compensation space on one side of the piston to a displacement space side on an opposite side of the piston. On the displacement space side a throttle channel connects one first piston channel to the piston lateral surface. On its displacement space side the piston has a piston journal, which carries a resiliently deformable piston disc. The piston disc is displaceable and covers the throttle channel at least partially. The displacement space side has at least one relief portion deviating from a piston end face plane. The relief portion is delimited on a number of sides by a plurality of boundary lines running concentrically with respect to the central axis. Each of these boundary lines can be differentiated continuously.

The bending plates each have tong jaws with friction surfaces, the respective surface normal of which are directed inwards. A sealed pressure chamber, which can be filled with a pressure medium, lies between the bending plates. Parts of a shaft-coupling assembly project between the clamping zones, said parts establishing the linking for the braked or clamped shaft. When the pressure in the pressure chamber is relieved, the frictional surfaces of the actuation assembly can be applied to the frictional surfaces of the shaft-coupling assembly, thereby producing the braking and/or clamping force.
