  • Publication number: 20090081054
Abstract: The present invention discloses a linear compressor in which a piston is linearly reciprocated inside a cylinder, for sicking a refrigerant into a compression space between the piston and the cylinder, and compressing and discharging the refrigerant, and especially, a structure of discharging the refrigerant for the linear compressor which can reduce a pulsation of a high pressure discharged refrigerant, by making the refrigerant compressed in the compression space flow from a sub-discharge space with a relatively small volume to a sub-discharge space with a relatively large volume in a discharge chamber. As a result, the structure of discharging the refrigerant for the linear compressor can efficiently reduce noise and vibration.

  • Patent number: 7056106
Abstract: A discharge valve apparatus for a reciprocating compressor comprises a discharge cover having built-in volume so as to cover a front end surface of the cylinder; a discharge valve disposed so as to be contacted/separated to/from the front end surface of the cylinder by a piston which undergoes a reciprocating movement inside the cylinder; and a valve spring having both ends respectively adhered to rear side of the discharge valve and to inner surface of the discharge cover so as to elastically support the rear side of the discharge valve. A rotation radius of the valve spring of a conical type is formed to be gradually reduced or increased so that impacts of a part to other parts during the compression can be prevented. Accordingly, when the valve spring is compressed in accordance with the compression and discharge strokes of the piston, the impacting noise caused by the impacts of the respective parts in the valve spring can be prevented previously.

  • Patent number: 6875001
Abstract: A reciprocating compressor, wherein a flange unit connected to the mover constituting the reciprocating motor is installed on the piston constituting the compressing unit, the distance between the piston flange unit and the front frame of the frame unit is shorter than that of the between the piston flange unit and the reciprocating motor. In the process of being transmitted the linear reciprocal movement driving force of the reciprocating motor and compressing the gas in the compressing unit, the stability of the compressor is raised by preventing the components moving together with the mover of reciprocating motor from impacting with other components by the displacement generated by compression force applying the piston constituting the compressing unit. Also, the size of compressor can be scaled down by compactly constituting the components.

  • Patent number: 6793470
Abstract: A spring support structure for reciprocating compressor having a frame unit elastically supported inside a closed container; a reciprocating motor fixed at the frame unit; a compression unit having a piston combined to an armature of the reciprocating motor and a cylinder to be fixed at the frame unit; and a spring unit supporting a spring support provided at the armature or the piston and guiding a reciprocal movement of the piston. The spring unit includes a plurality of front springs supporting one side of the spring support in parallel and a plurality of the rear springs supporting the other side of the spring support. Because the front and rear springs elastically supporting both the armature and the piston are arranged in parallel to overlap with each other for a certain range, the horizontal length of the spring is reduced, resulting in a compact compressor.
