  • Patent number: 12137931
Abstract: A catheter device for crossing occlusions includes an elongate catheter shaft, a rotatable tip configured to rotate relative to the elongate catheter shaft, a drive shaft, and an OCT imaging sensor. The rotatable tip includes a central guidewire lumen, a distal grinding surface, and a fluted portion. The distal grinding surface can be substantially perpendicular to the guidewire lumen and include divots and sharp points that form pyramidal features, where the sharp points extend distally from the distal grinding surface. The fluted portion can have flutes extending around a circumference of the rotatable tip proximal to the distal grinding surface. The fluted portion may not include the divots and sharp points that form the pyramidal features of the distal grinding surface.

  • Publication number: 20240250824
Abstract: Methods provide device authentication for an intrusion detection system implementing building automation and control network (BACnet) Master-Slave/Token-Passing (MS/TP). An authentication protocol provides countermeasures to vulnerabilities in the BACnet MS/TP physical layer by utilizing an extended message format to cloak device identifiers (IDs). Adversaries are prevented from using known device IDs to gain access to the network. An authenticating device hashes a device identifier of a device to be authenticated combined with a random number. The authenticating device receives a hash of the random number plus the device identifier from the device. The authenticating device compares the hashes and authenticates the device if the hashes match. To transmit the hash, the BACnet MS/TP frame format includes an extended header cyclic redundancy check (CRC) field having bytes reallocated from the data field of the frame format.

  • Publication number: 20240243641
Abstract: A downhole power generation system includes a generator that generates AC input power having a variable input voltage that varies based on a rotational rate of a turbine, which in turn is based on a variable flow rate of a fluid flow. An active rectifier converts the AC power having the variable input voltage to DC power having a constant output voltage. This may increase the range of usable input voltages and decrease a number of flow kits used in a downhole drilling assembly.

  • Patent number: 12005701
Abstract: A printing system comprises one or more printheads arranged to eject ink to a deposition region. Print media are held by vacuum suction against a movable support surface, which transports the print media though the deposition region. The vacuum suction is communicated from a vacuum source to the movable support surface via a vacuum plenum. An airflow control system comprises one or more dampers arranged in the vacuum plenum to control airflow between the vacuum source and the movable support surface. The dampers have an adjustable impedance to airflow through the damper. The airflow control system is configured to adjust the impedance of the damper based on a detected condition of the printing system. A detected condition of the printing system may include, for example, a sensed pressure in the vacuum plenum.

  • Publication number: 20240171709
Abstract: An emergency dispatch system configured to allow first responders to efficiently utilize video-based systems using static images of a space and to understand a physical layout of the space. The system includes a dispatch processing hub linked via a communications network with client devices. The system further includes data storage storing a static image of a monitored space from a supplemental camera and video of the monitored space from video sources. A map interface generator is provided that is configured for generating a map-based interface for display upon a display device of the client devices. The map-based interface provides access to the static image and to the video. The hub functions to serve the map-based interface to the client devices. The dispatch processing hub responds to user input selecting the static image by providing a view, e.g., a 360-degree view, of the monitored space based on the static image.
