  • Publication number: 20240148500
Abstract: A flexible delivery catheter comprising an outer jacket with a first portion and a second portion, a coil layer, and a coupler. The first portion and second portion of the outer jacket have a first inner diameter and a second inner diameter where the second inner diameter is greater than the first inner diameter. The change in diameter from the first inner diameter to the second inner diameter creates a shoulder. The coupler is coupled to the distal end of the outer jacket such that a cavity is formed by the coupler, the second portion of the outer jacket, and the shoulder of the outer jacket. A coil layer or hypotube is disposed within the cavity.

  • Publication number: 20240134454
Abstract: Provided is a system for controlling digital cinematic content based on emotional state of characters. A focus on one or more computer-controlled characters appearing in digital cinematic content is determined based on emotion indicators of a first user actively interacting with at least the one or more computer-controlled characters. A set of emotion indicators is inferred for each of the one or more computer-controlled characters based on one or more criteria and multifactor feedback loops are created. A story line of the digital cinematic content and behavioural characteristics of the one or more computer-controlled characters are controlled to achieve a target emotional arc of the first user based on the multifactor feedback loops.

  • Patent number: 11886372
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to packing transaction layer (TL) packets at a link layer of a protocol stack. In some examples, channel type data identify a type of message channel for a first TL packet can be generated. A set of slot formats for a slot for packing the first TL packet can be identified based on the channel type data and a slot format database. A respective slot format of the set of slot formats can be selected for the slot based on a message type of the first TL packet, and a message type of a second TL packet. The first TL packet and the second TL packet can be packed into the slot having the selected respective slot format during generation of a link layer packet.

  • Publication number: 20230386368
Abstract: A patient simulator may include a pump, a compressor, a power source, and a simulated torso in which the pump, the compressor, and the power source are contained. The compressor may include an inlet to which a bellows is coupled. A head coupling may detachably couple a simulated neck to the simulated torso. Similarly, an extremity coupling may detachably couple a simulated lower extremity to a simulated upper extremity, which simulated upper extremity is coupled to the simulated torso. The pump, the compressor, and/or the power source may provide hydraulic fluid, pneumatic fluid, and or electrical power, respectively, into: the simulated neck via the head coupling; or the simulated lower extremity via the extremity coupling. In addition, or instead, the patient simulator may include an invasive blood pressure (IBP) assembly having an armature adapted to contact a tube to change a fluid pressure in the IBP assembly.

  • Publication number: 20230246829
Abstract: A client device that is not originally compliant with a particular security standard (e.g., FIPS) is brought into compliance through the addition of a standard-compliant software-based cryptographic library. In order to adapt the cryptographic library to integrate with the hardware-backed keystore, a non-hardware-backed software keystore is used to store keys used by the cryptographic library. Additionally, in order to provide appropriate security for the software keystore, the software keystore (and/or the keypairs within the software keystore) is protected by a password, and the password is in turn protected by the hardware-backed keystore. Thus, to obtain the password needed to obtain a keypair from the software keystore that is in turn needed to use the cryptographic library, a user must authenticate with the operating system, e.g., by providing biometric credentials.

  • Publication number: 20230047787
Abstract: Provided is a system for controlling progress of audio-video content based on sensor data of multiple users, composite neuro-physiological state (CNS) and/or content engagement power (CEP). Sensor data is received from sensors positioned on an electronic device of a first user to sense neuro-physiological responses of the first user and second users that are in field-of-view (FOV) of the sensors. Based on the sensor data and at least one of a CNS value for social interaction application and a CEP value for immersive content, recommendations of action items for first user are predicted. Content of a feedback loop, created based on sensor data, CNS value, CEP value, and predicted recommendations, is rendered on output unit of electronic device during play of the at least one of social interaction application and immersive content experience. Progress of social interaction and immersive content experience is controlled by first user based on predicted recommendations.

  • Publication number: 20220224963
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for personalizing a vehicle with a sensory output device include receiving, by one or more processors, a signal indicating an identity or passenger profile of a detected passenger in or boarding the vehicle, accessing preference data and geographic location data for the passenger, and selecting sensory content for delivery to the passenger in the vehicle based on the preference data and geographic location data. Methods and apparatus for producing video customized for a preference profile of a person or cohort include associating each of stored video clips with a set of characteristic parameters relating to user-perceivable characteristics, receiving user profile data relating to the person or cohort, selecting video clips from the data structure based at least partly on the user profile data, and automatically producing a video including the preferred video clips.

  • Publication number: 20220209885
Abstract: In order to avoid various jamming attacks from intelligent jammers in modern complex wireless environments, a system and method is presented for a user radio to generate and implement an adaptive anti-jamming communication strategy. The said adaptive anti-jamming communication strategy is obtained via the training process for a specific neural network using Deep Double-Q Reinforcement learning algorithm in the strategy generation phase. The objective of this process is to discover a strategy to select the optimal radio action including transmission channel and transmission power for the user radio, which is changed adaptively to different jamming patterns to maximize the successful transmission rate (“jamming-free”) while retaining the power consumption of user radio as low as possible.
