    Abstract: The subject disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for determining a one shot HARQ-ACK codebook. In one embodiment, the subject disclosure provides a method performed by a User Equipment (UE), including receiving, from a base station (BS), a signaling configuring a plurality of Downlink (DL) Hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuest (HARQ) processes, and Downlink Control Information (DCI) requesting HARQ-ACK feedback for each of the plurality of DL HARQ processes; for each of the plurality of DL HARQ processes, generating the HARQ-ACK feedback based on an associated New Data Indicator (NDI) bit and HARQ-ACK information bit; and transmitting, to the BS, a HARQ-ACK codebook comprising the HARQ-ACK feedback for each of the plurality of DL HARQ processes.

One apparatus includes a transceiver and a processor coupled with the transceiver, the processor configured to cause the apparatus to transmit a first control signal to a remote unit, the first control signal indicating a maximum number of HARQ processes, and to transmit a second control signal to the remote unit, where the second control signal is transmitted on a first carrier and where the second control signal schedules a first number of slots on a second carrier. The processor aggregates every two or more of the scheduled first number of slots to a single HARQ process in response to the first number being larger than the maximum number of HARQ processes.
