According to an embodiment of the present application, a method can include: receiving MCG link recovery configuration information; in response to a RLF in a MCG, starting a first timer associated with a fast MCG link recovery procedure and transmitting MCG failure information including a failure type, wherein the failure type indicates that the RLF in the MCG is due to one of: an out-of-sync timer expires; a random access problem occurs; a maximum number of retransmissions has been reached; and a consistent uplink LBT failure is detected. Embodiments of the present application can define the UE behavior for the fast MCG link recovery when considering CHO and LBT.
