Patent number: 4908667Abstract: A photographic copying apparatus for reproducing an original on photosensitive paper. A roll of photosensitive paper mounted in a magazine is fed downwardly and cut into sheets. Each sheet is sucked to a vertically arranged suction conveyor and fed down. At a predetermined position, the feed of the sheet stops. An exposure table which is turnable and movable between two points is turned and pressed against the sheet on the conveyor. The suction conveyor stops sucking the sheet while the exposure table starts sucking it, so that the sheet is handed over to the latter. The table now carrying the sheet moves toward the expsoure unit. On its way, it is turned and passed under a corona charger. As the table reaches and the exposure unit, it is turned again and the light reflected by an original is shed on the sheet for light exposure. The table is then turned to bring its sheet carrying side down and moved in an opposite direction toward the conveyor.Type: GrantFiled: July 15, 1988Date of Patent: March 13, 1990Assignees: Noritsu Koki Co., Ltd., Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd.Inventors: Hiroo Ikeura, Yoshiyuki Yamaji, Hajime Murakami, Yoshikazu Tamaki, Ritsuo Tanaka

Patent number: 4811057Abstract: A lamp unit for use in an electrophotographic copying apparatus. The lamp unit containing a lamp moves under an original on the original support. The lamp unit is formed with a slit through which the light from the lamp is shed on to the original and is reflected by it on to a photosensitive object to form an image thereon. The slit is the narrowest at its center and gradually widens toward its both ends. Also, the lamp unit is accelerated until it reaches the center of the original support and is decelerated thereafter. This assures a uniform distribution of light over the surface of a photosensitive object.Type: GrantFiled: October 15, 1987Date of Patent: March 7, 1989Assignees: Noritsu Koki Co., Ltd., Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd.Inventors: Hajime Murakami, Tooru Takenouchi, Hiroo Ikeura

Patent number: 4663257Abstract: This invention is a method of color electrophotography in which toner images are superposed sequentially on a photosensitive material sheet to form a multi-color image by using a liquid developer. According to this method, the photosensitive material sheet is made to pass by a conductive doctor member and then by an air blasting member in sequence immediately after development, so as to form the multi-color image. By this method, the multi-color image can be formed in the condition that most of a excess developer is removed while a small quantity of carrier liquid containing no residual toner particles is made to exist as a uniform liquid layer on the surface of the photosensitive material sheet, and thus a clear image free from a fogging of the surface can be obtained.Type: GrantFiled: September 23, 1985Date of Patent: May 5, 1987Assignees: Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha, Ltd., Dainippon Screen Mfg. Co., Ltd.Inventors: Sadao Murasawa, Hajime Murakami, Nobuharu Oka
