  • Publication number: 20200159899
Abstract: An authentication device includes an acquisition unit that acquires first image data generated at a first timing and indicating a first face of a living creature to be authenticated, age information indicating an age of the living creature at the first timing, second image data generated at a second timing later than the first timing and indicating a second face of the living creature, and aging information indicating a time period from the first timing to the second timing, and a controller that compares the first image data with the second image data. The controller calculates a similarity between the first face and the second face based on the first image data and the second image data, corrects the similarity based on the age information and the aging information, and determines, based on the corrected similarity, whether the living creature in the first image data is identical to the living creature in the second image data.

  • Patent number: 10614940
Abstract: A superconducting magnet device with which device breakage caused by a quench can be avoided while helium consumption is reduced. A sheet-like convection-preventing member is disposed at least either above or below a heat transfer member transferring to gaseous helium heat transferred from the outside, so as to cover a helium gas release tube for the gaseous helium, and thus heat exchange performance during transportation is improved. In the case where the quench occurs, the convection-preventing member is lifted upward in the release tube, thereby ensuring to provide a flow path for the gaseous helium and avoiding excessive increase of the internal pressure.

  • Publication number: 20180277339
Abstract: A microwave generator of a plasma processing apparatus of an embodiment includes a first module, a second module, and a combiner. The first module includes a distributor which distributes a high-frequency electric signal, and outputs a plurality of high-frequency electric signals. A plurality of amplifier modules of the second module respectively amplify the plurality of high-frequency electric signals from the first module to output a plurality of microwaves. The combiner combines the plurality of microwaves from the plurality of amplifier modules to output a microwave. Each of the plurality of amplifier modules has a DC/DC converter and an amplifier. The DC/DC converter steps down the voltage of a first direct-current power from an external direct-current power supply to output a second direct-current power. The amplifier amplifies a high-frequency electric signal by using the second direct-current power to output a microwave.

  • Publication number: 20160148381
Abstract: A category selection portion selects a face orientation based on an error between the positions of feature points (the eyes and the mouth) on the faces of each face orientation and the positions of feature points, corresponding to the feature points on the faces of each category, on the face of a collation face image. A collation portion collates the registered face images of the face orientation selected by the category selection portion and the collation face image with each other, and the face orientations are determined so that face orientation ranges where the error with respect to each individual face orientation is within a predetermined value are in contact with each other or overlap each other. The collation face image and the registered face images can be more accurately collated with each other.
