    Abstract: Disclosed herein are a method for manufacturing an electronic component embedding substrate and an electronic component embedding substrate. The method for manufacturing an electronic component embedding substrate includes: inserting an electronic component into a cavity formed in a core substrate; stacking a first insulating layer on one side of the core substrate into which the electronic component is inserted; performing surface treatment on the other side of the core substrate opposite to a direction in which the first insulating layer is stacked to improve a surface roughness of at least an exposed surface of the first insulating layer; and stacking a second insulating layer on the other side of the core substrate so as to be bonded to the exposed surface of the first insulating layer of which the surface roughness is improved. In addition, disclosed herein is the electronic component embedding substrate.

The water meter includes a body including an inlet unit and an outlet unit, an impeller unit provided to rotate due to a fluid flowing in the body, a cover member that covers one side of the impeller unit and includes a guide groove formed therein, and sensors that are provided on one side and the other side of the cover member and are spaced apart from each other to face each other. The impeller unit includes blades interfering with the fluid, a shaft forming a rotational center of the blades, and a cut-off unit that extends from one side of the plurality of blades to be inserted into the guide groove, and selectively cuts off signal transmission between the plurality of sensors.

    Abstract: Disclosed are an apparatus and method for remotely transmitting gas usage in a gas meter. The apparatus includes: a main body having a gas inlet and a gas outlet; a diaphragm assembly for pumping gas; a rotary slider controlling the amount of gas introduced to the diaphragm assembly; a counter calculating cumulatively the amount of gas introduced into or discharged from a valve; a remote interface unit digitizing the value cumulatively calculated by the counter to transmit the digitized value to a remote control unit; and a controller controlling the remote interface unit to counter the number of revolutions of the counter so that the cumulatively calculated value of the gas is digitized to display the digitized value on a display unit. The digitized value of the gas is transmitted to the remote control unit. Therefore, the apparatus can exactly measure the flow rate, reduce power consumption, and remotely check gas usage.
