Abstract: An apparatus for managing information about a mobile network service in a server that manages a network providing the mobile network service, including an information change identification unit which identifies a change in the information about the mobile network service, an information transmission unit that transmits a message including the changed information to an information server, and a positive acknowledgement message receiving unit that receives from the information server a positive acknowledgement message that represents acceptance of the changed information. When information about the network service is changed, a message including the changed information is transmitted to the information server, and the message is re-transmitted to the information server a predetermined number of times until the information server transmits an ACK response that indicates acceptance of the changed information.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for communicating data. The method of receiving data by a first device from a second device includes generating a session initiation protocol (SIP) message including information on a data reception environment of the first device; transmitting the generated message to the second device; and receiving data transmitted by the second device based on the transmitted information. Accordingly, data transmission in consideration of a reception environment of a device for receiving data is possible, so that the quality of a data service is guaranteed.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for configuring an (Internet protocol) IP address, an information server, and an information storage medium storing a data format of a message therefor. The method includes obtaining information on a method of configuring an IP address of a new network after a handover is performed by using an IS (information server); and configuring the IP address using the method of configuring the IP while a mobile terminal accesses the new network, thereby avoiding an unnecessary delay due to an address configuration method that is not supported in the new network, and configuring the IP address quickly and efficiently.

The method of performing handover in a mobile node includes determining an intrinsic value of a current PoA to which the mobile node is connected; and performing handover using the determined intrinsic value. The mobile node that does not include a GPS or does not support a specific protocol transmits the location thereof to an IS using an PoA identifier that is an intrinsic value of a current PoA to which the MN is connected, so that the IS can be informed of the current PoA, and quickly and promptly determine adjacent PoAs for performing handover.

Abstract: A quality of service (QoS) securing apparatus and method using a communication protocol is provided. The QoS securing method is performed by a reception side that is receiving data from a transmission side. The method includes generating information about a changed communication environment according to a change in a communication environment of the reception side, and transmitting the information to the transmission side. An exchange of information about a communication environment using the communication protocol between the reception side and the transmission side can inform the transmission side about resources of the reception side, link characteristics, characteristics of a link on a transmission path, etc., thereby securing a QoS of data communication between the reception side and the transmission side.

Abstract: A wireless communication system including first and second wireless devices, and first and second access points to synchronize the first and second wireless devices, wherein the first access point determines whether the second access point exists in a neighboring area, periodically checks communication states of the second access point, sends an access point replacement command to the second wireless device linked to the second access point in response to determining the second access point is communication-disabled, and forms a new communication channel with the second wireless device according to an association request signal received from the second wireless device in response to the access point replacement command.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus for receiving and processing printing data includes a data transceiver unit that receives printing data including recipient information from an external client personal computer (PC), a detection unit that detects the recipient information from the printing data, a storage unit, and a control unit that stores the printing data in a memory that corresponds to the recipient information. When a user corresponding to the recipient information is registered, the control unit stores the printing data in a normal memory allocated to the registered user and, when the user is unregistered, the control unit stores the printing data in a temporary memory. The control unit notifies at least one client PC corresponding to the recipient information of the receipt of the printing data through the data transceiver unit. Accordingly, it is possible to accurately transmit the printing data to the intended recipients.

Abstract: A built-in battery controller for a personal telecommunication device. The battery controller includes a push switch that is switched on and off by a user, a power control unit that is connected to the push switch and allows a leakage current to flow through the power switch, a battery pack including a protection circuit module (PCM) for turning off the battery when the leakage current flows through the power switch under the control of the power control unit, and a charging circuit for charging the battery pack. The system comprises a control unit for transferring a request for approval of the first device to the second device and transferring to the first device a response of the second device to the request for approval, and transforming the image data into a printable format and outputting the transformed image data. The request of approval requests an approval of the second device for printing of the image data. The image data is transferred to the control unit from the first device in response to an output permission in the response of the second device. The system comprises a printing unit for printing on a print paper an image corresponding to the transformed image data.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for waking up a remote main system. The method includes: certifying whether a user of a terminal which transmits a packet for waking up a main system that is in a sleeping state is a legitimate user of the main system; and transmitting a wake-up signal to the main system if it is certified that the user is legitimate. Access of uncertified users can be prevented by certifying a user who is in the process of logging on or logging into the main system before the main system wakes up.

Abstract: A bias circuit to prevent distortion of color in a cathode ray tube (CRT) comprises a power supply part, a first amp to amplify and output a brightness control voltage applied to control brightness, a second amp to respectively amplify and output RGB-bias control voltages having a ratio of R:G:B supplied from a video power amp, an addition amp to add the brightness control voltage output from the first amp respectively to the RGB-bias control voltages amplified and output from the second amp and to amplify the respective added values to output the respective added RGB-bias control voltages, and an inverting amp to restore the respective added RGB-bias control voltages input from the addition amp and to calculate respective output RGB bias control voltages. Accordingly, color distortion of a video image caused after changing brightness of a screen can be prevented so that a correct color of the image can be implemented.
