The first message includes configuration information of at least one first reference signal. The communication method also includes receiving a second message from the network device. The second message indicates an availability of at least one second reference signal, the at least one second reference signal has a quasi co-location (QCL) relationship with at least one synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel block (SSB), and the at least one first reference signal includes the at least one second reference signal. The communication method further includes receiving, from the network device and based on the configuration information and the second message, an available reference signal of the at least one second reference signal.

Abstract: A communication method includes determining, by a terminal side device in a mobile communications system, N random access preambles on N uplink bandwidth parts (BWPs) in a random access process, where N is an integer greater than or equal to 2, and sending, by the terminal side device, the N random access preambles to a network side device so that the terminal side device can perform random access on a plurality of uplink BWPs. In this method, the network side device or each terminal side device may subsequently perform random access on any one of the N uplink BWPs.

Abstract: This application provides quality of service monitoring methods, systems, and devices for monitoring quality of service of communication links. One method comprises: obtaining an identifier of a service flow of a terminal device, a quality of service monitoring parameter of a communication link for transmitting the service flow, and correlation information associated with the communication link, the correlation information correlates the identifier of the service flow with an access type adopted by the communication link, wherein the access type is a 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) access or a non-3GPP access; and monitoring the quality of service of the communication link for the access type based on the identifier of the service flow, the quality of service monitoring parameter, and the correlation information.

Abstract: A reference signal transmission method is provided to reduce power consumption. The method may be applied to time-frequency tracking. The method includes a network device sends configuration information of a reference signal RS to a terminal device, where the configuration information is used to indicate at least one periodic target sending time period of the RS; and the network device sends the RS in a first target sending time period based on a first periodicity, where the first target sending time period belongs to the at least one periodic target sending time period. In this case, the RS is sent only in a part of the target sending time period, that is, the RS is not an always-on signal, and wake-up duration of UE is short. This helps UE reduce power consumption.

Abstract: A time-sensitive networking communication method and an apparatus, where the method may include: determining, by an application function network element, a virtual switching node identifier corresponding to a port identifier of a user plane function network element; determining a virtual port identifier of a virtual switching node identified by the virtual switching node identifier; obtaining attribute information of the virtual switching node, where the attribute information includes attribute information of a port identified by the port identifier of the user plane function network element and attribute information of a virtual port identified by the virtual port identifier; and sending the attribute information of the virtual switching node to a time-sensitive network, where the attribute information of the virtual switching node is used to request the time-sensitive network to register or update the virtual switching node based on the attribute information of the virtual switching node.

In this way, when one data packet is lost, the receive end may further receive the other data packet.

Abstract: A method for improving service reliability includes deciding, by a session function entity in a network, to initiate establishment of at least two transmission paths between a terminal and the user plane function entity, and instructing the terminal or the user plane function entity to transmit same data on the at least two paths. The user plane function allocates, based on a notification of the session function entity, user plane resources to the at least two transmission paths, and transmits the same data with the terminal on the at least two transmission paths. A core network initiates the establishment of the at least two transmission paths to the terminal. Two access devices may independently establish the at least two transmission paths.

Abstract: A communication method comprises that an application function network element first obtains transport information for a data stream, where the transport information includes information about an ingress port for the data stream and information about an egress port for the data stream. The application function network element then determines, based on the transport information, that the data stream is a data stream between terminal devices. The data stream is carried in two sessions. One session is a first session corresponding to the information about the ingress port, and the other session is a second session corresponding to the information about the egress port. The application function network element then can trigger a core network device to initiate policy and charging control (PCC) rule configuration processes for the first session and the second session, so that the data stream can be created.

Abstract: A bearer processing method and system, and a related apparatus. A GW-U is configured to receive a data packet and match the data packet with a rule, and send bearer processing indication information to a GW-C if a rule matching result of the data packet meets a trigger condition for bearer processing, where the bearer processing indication information is used to trigger the GW-C to perform bearer processing according to quality of service QoS information of a data service corresponding to the data packet. The GW-C is configured to receive the bearer processing indication information from the GW-U, determine, according to the bearer processing indication information, the QoS information of the data service corresponding to the data packet, and perform bearer processing according to the QoS information of the data service corresponding to the data packet.
