Abstract: A wireless mouse having a receptacle for the storage of its wireless receiver is provided. When the wireless mouse is not in use, the wireless receiver could be inserted into a receptacle chamber built in the wireless mouse. An internal mechanism inside the wireless mouse automatically holds the wireless receiver in its position within the receptacle chamber. To remove the wireless receiver, a release button is engaged and the wireless receiver would be released and ejected out of the receptacle chamber.

In the power saving mode, only a small amount of electricity is drawn to maintain the memory of the earlier configured and established identification code and the communication link. When the wireless receiver is removed from the receptacle, the power saving device is triggered to switch the wireless mouse back to a normal operation mode and the memorized identification code and communication link are used automatically to communication with the wireless receiver directly and immediately.

Products that can be associated with the quote are automatically determined using at least one rule for associating products with quotes. A product can be associated with the quote if the product satisfies the rules. Rules can require another product to be included with the product in the quote, require a given value for an attribute of the product, or require a relationship between the values of attributes of different products. Rules can also be added to specify how data for the products are presented in a display via a user interface. A user can use a configuration user interface to set up rules.
