    Abstract: High-performance long-lifetime charge-separation photodetectors are provided. A new device design is described based on novel band structure engineering of semiconductor materials for photodetectors, such as photosensors, solar cells, and thermophotovoltaic devices. In an exemplary aspect, photodetectors described herein include a charge-separated photo absorber region. This comprises a semiconductor with a band structure that has an indirect fundamental bandgap, with a direct bandgap (?-? transition) only slightly above the indirect fundamental bandgap (L- or X-? transitions) (e.g., approximately equal to or larger than an energy of a product of the Boltzmann constant (kB), and temperature (T), with kBT=26 millielectron-volts (meV) at room temperature). This design not only improves photogenerated-carrier lifetime (similar to indirect bandgap semiconductors), but also maintains a strong absorption coefficient (similar to direct bandgap semiconductors).

In the method, a virtual router entity that services a virtual network available on the network receives a packet from the UE, the received packet including at least a destination ID and payload. The virtual router then forwards a location resolution request including the received destination ID to an associated connectivity manager operating on the network. The virtual router receives a location resolution response from the connectivity manager including at least a destination network node ID. The virtual router may then forward the packet to the destination network node ID.

The service may deploy an ML orchestration function and a storage location on behalf of a user. When a modification is made to the storage bucket, such as by the user providing a training dataset, the orchestration function is invoked and can automatically initiate an AutoML process using at least the training data to train multiple ML model variants.     Abstract: Wireless network specific (WN-specific) key can be used to provide access protection over the radio access link. A WN-specific key may be associated with (or assigned to) a wireless network, and distributed to access points of the wireless network, as well as to user equipments (UEs) following UE authentication. The WN-specific key is then used to encrypt/decrypt data transported over the radio access link. The WN-specific key can be used in conjunction with the UE-specific keys to provide multi-level access protection. In some embodiments, WN-specific kays are shared between neighboring wireless networks to reduce the frequency of key exchanges during handovers. Service-specific keys may be used to provide access protection to machine to machine (M2M) services. Group-specific keys may be used to provide access protection to traffic communicated between members of a private social network.

A virtual network is pre-configured to handle service packets and includes virtual routers for routing packets via logical tunnels. The end point pre-registers with the virtual network and/or service and receives operating parameters for use in service access. The end point location may be tracked following pre-registration. The end point subsequently transmits and/or receives service packets using the operating parameters via an edge node, such as an access node or gateway. The edge node transmits service packets using the operating parameters and, upon detecting operating parameter usage by the end point, forwards received service packets to the virtual network. Operating parameters may include an identifier included in the packet. The end point may use multiple different edge nodes to access the service.
