  • Patent number: 11922948
Abstract: Implementations of the subject technology provide systems and methods for multi-mode voice triggering for audio devices. An audio device may store multiple voice recognition models, each trained to detect a single corresponding trigger phrase. So that the audio device can detect a specific one of the multiple trigger phrases without consuming the processing and/or power resources to run a voice recognition model that can differentiate between different trigger phrases, the audio device pre-loads a selected one of the voice recognition models for an expected trigger phrase into a processor of the audio device. The audio device may select the one of the voice recognition models for the expected trigger phrase based on a type of a companion device that is communicatively coupled to the audio device.

  • Publication number: 20240047950
Abstract: An internal combustion engine is fitted with a pre-combustion chamber having first and second electrodes, each electrode extending through a respective electrode aperture located in a thermally conductive body portion of the pre-combustion chamber body which is located within the cylinder head or other engine body component outside the combustion chamber. The second electrode may be a ground electrode and is adjustable along an axis of the respective, second electrode aperture to adjust the spark gap.

  • Patent number: 11777340
Abstract: A contact lens charging case comprises a container sized and shaped to receive an electronic contact lens (“eCL”) and charging coil to couple to a coil of the eCL. In some embodiments, the charging coil comprises a diameter larger than a diameter of the coil of the eCL, so as to decrease sensitivity of the location and orientation of the eCL in the container and improve coupling between the coils. In some embodiments, the charging coil is dimensioned so as to extend at least partially around the container that receives the eCL.

  • Patent number: 11733545
Abstract: An opto-electronic module is configured to fit between anterior and posterior surfaces of a contact lens. The opto-electronics module may comprise a plurality of light sources configured to direct a plurality of light beams to a region of the retina away from the fovea and in some embodiments away from the macula. Each of the plurality of light sources may comprises an LED and one or more projection optics. Each of the projection optics can be coupled to an LED with an adhesive prior to placing the opto-electronics module on a layer of contact lens material. • Publication number: 20230168521
Abstract: A soft contact lens comprises a plurality of light sources coupled to a plurality of optical elements. The plurality of light sources and the plurality of optical elements are embedded in a soft contact lens material. Each of said plurality of optical elements generates an image focused in front of a peripheral retina of a wearer. In some embodiments, each of the images is focused at a distance in front of the peripheral retina at a location, and each of the images comprises a depth of focus and a spatial resolution. The depth of focus can be less than the distance, and the spatial resolution greater than a spatial resolution of the peripheral retina at the location.
