  • Publication number: 20120031721
Abstract: An apparatus for electrically connecting a polyphase vessel distribution system of a vessel to a polyphase land supply system having a supply system connection disposed on land to be connected to a vessel system connection of the vessel distribution system at least in sections by at least one cable connection, enables a fast and secure connection of the land supply system to the vessel distribution system. During normal operation, vessel movements can be reliably compensated by at least one articulated arm used as a support for one or more cable connections. The articulated arm has arm segments interconnected by at least one articulated connection. A joint drive is associated with each articulated connection for mutually pivoting the arm segments interconnected by the articulated connection, which is associated with the joint drive.

  • Patent number: 7374574
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for axially conveying body fluids. The aim of the invention is to embody the inflow and outflow area of an axial pump in such a way that the flow is not separated even when it is diverted, thereby maintaining a substantially non-disrupted flow profile.

  • Patent number: 6742999
Abstract: A delivery device for a single- or multiphase fluid having a tubular body for axially guiding the fluid, including a motor stator arranged outside the tubular body and a delivery element arranged within the tubular body, comprising a motor rotor. A rotor gap is formed between the delivery element and the hollow body for allowing the fluid to pass through. Mounting arrangements are fixedly disposed in axial direction on each side of the delivery element within the tubular body. Hub gaps are formed between the delivery element and the mounting arrangement. First permanent magnet bearing elements are disposed in the mounting arrangement and second permanent magnet bearing elements are disposed in the delivery element. The first and the second permanent magnet bearing elements functionally work together and are magnetized in axial direction and have opposite polarity. Position sensors associated with each of the first permanent magnet bearing elements and a stabilizer is disposed around the hollow body.

  • Patent number: 6719791
Abstract: The invention provides a device for the axial delivery of fluidal mediums, which outer diameter is not or only insignificantly larger than the diameter of the fluid carrying pipe, which reduces to a large extent a shearing and vortexing of the fluid. A device for the axial delivery of fluidal mediums, having a tubular hollow body arrangement, in which delivery area, an impeller (9) with a blading, which can be rotated, is arranged and also has a fluid directional means. A motor (2), at least one impeller (9) which can be rotated, and at least one motor mounting (14) are arranged in a tubular hollow body (1) of the hollow body arrangement. The impeller (9) is connected axially force-fittingly and/or form-fittingly to the motor (2).

  • Publication number: 20040010513
Abstract: A system and method are provided for organizing information that can be shared among multiple individuals. The information is structured and categorized according to areas of concern, sub-areas of concern, concerns, outcomes, commitments, and occasions. Multiple disparate individuals may be associated with one or more areas of concern, concerns, outcomes, commitments, and/or occasions. If one individual fails to achieve an outcome, the remaining individuals may be notified automatically, enabling corrective action to be taken. New areas of concern, and their associated concerns, outcomes, and occasions may be added for one or more individuals. Additional features, such as calendars, to-do lists, and other features may be integrated with the present invention. Web-based and/or client-server interfaces can be used to review and/or update system information. Messages and conversations can be associated with particular nodes within the concern cascade.
