  • Patent number: 8903656
Abstract: There is described herein a method to synchronize the position and orientation of an IGD 3D Coordinate System with the position and orientation of a 3DM 3D Coordinate System, in which the IGD's gravity direction measurement device and electronic compass are used explicitly. There is also described a method for maintaining the synchronization while the IGD is moving, in which the IGD's three-axis accelerometer is used explicitly. There is further described how an IGD, once its position and orientation have been synchronized to the position and orientation of a 3DM, can be used to display 3D graphics that guide the measurement process.

  • Publication number: 20140346119
Abstract: A transmission assembly has a clutch or brake, an oil filter, an electrically driven hydraulic pump and a controller controlling the pump. In the method for operating an oil filter system for transmission oil, the actual contamination level Va (%) of the transmission oil is determined indirectly by a contamination model Va (%)=Vstart(IW %)?A (%)+B (%)+C (%), wherein Vstart (IW %) is a starting contamination value, A (%) depends on the hydraulic pump flow rate, B (%) depends on a clutch energy input, and C (%) depends on a transmission performance. When a contamination threshold value Vs (%) is exceeded, the hydraulic pump is switched on, until the actual contamination level Va (%), after decrementing by A (%) in the contamination model, is equal to or less than the contamination level threshold value Va (%) minus a fixed hysteresis value VH (%).

  • Patent number: 8894032
Abstract: A seat track assembly includes first and second tracks. The second track includes a detent. A roller engages the first and second tracks for facilitating movement of the first track relative to the second track. Movement of the first track relative to the second track at a predetermined position causes the roller to engage with the detent such that the detent resists rotation of the roller, thereby temporarily retaining the first track relative to the second track at the predetermined position.

  • Patent number: 8897981
Abstract: Method for determining an adjustment parameter in a hydraulic actuator arrangement for a motor vehicle drivetrain. The actuator arrangement has a pump and a hydraulic cylinder. A pressure port of the pump is connected to a port of the hydraulic cylinder. The adjustment parameter is a function of the volume of the fluid that must be delivered by the pump in order to realize a predetermined operating point of the actuator arrangement. The operating point is defined by a value pair of an operating point rotational speed value of the pump and an operating point control value of the pump. The method has the steps: regulating the pump to the operating point rotational speed value such that the pump delivers a fluid volume flow rate corresponding to the operating point rotational speed value; and integrating the fluid volume flow rate over the time until a termination operating state of the actuator arrangement, in which the control value of the pump is less than or equal to the operating point control value.

  • Patent number: 8891846
Abstract: The present embodiments relate to a device and a method for data postprocessing of K-space data acquired using a magnetic resonance tomography device. Each part of a K-space matrix is generated with one recording using a magnetic resonance tomography device in a plurality of recordings with the aid of a plurality of transmitting transmit channels of the magnetic resonance tomography device using excitation signals of one amplitude and phase. A field generated in total by the plurality of transmitting transmit channels is determined through addition of the spatial distribution of field distribution datasets representing a field generated by at least one transmit channel of the plurality of channels. A spatially dependent phase correction of the data is performed for data acquired in one recording using phases resulting from the added field distribution datasets.
