    Abstract: A byte addressable storing system is provided. The byte addressable storing system includes a data transmission interface and a processing unit. The data transmission interface connects to a byte addressable storing device. The processing unit creates a primary metadata table, a secondary metadata table, an indirect metadata matching table, a sub-block using status table and a metadata pointer in the byte addressable storing device via the data transmission interface. The processing unit further adjusts the allocation of metadata in the byte addressable storing device dynamically based on the aforesaid tables and pointer. The processing unit further stores a file into sub-blocks of blocks non-sequentially, and achieves record of the file via dynamic multi-level pointing.

    Abstract: A computer-implemented technique is described herein for identifying one or more content items that are relevant to an input linguistic item (e.g., an input query) using a deep-structured neural network, trained based on a corpus of click-through data. The input linguistic item has a collection of input tokens. The deep-structured neural network includes a first part that produces word embeddings associated with the respective input tokens, a second part that generates state vectors that capture context information associated with the input tokens, and a third part which distinguishes important parts of the input linguistic item from less important parts. The second part of the deep-structured neural network can be implemented as a recurrent neural network, such as a bi-directional neural network. The third part of the deep-structured neural network can generate a concept vector by forming a weighted sum of the state vectors.

    Abstract: A multiple-bit-per-cell, page mode memory comprises a plurality of physical pages, each physical page having N addressable pages p(n). Logic implements a plurality of selectable program operations to program an addressed page. Logic select one of the plurality of selectable program operations to program an addressed page in the particular physical page using a signal that indicates a logical status of another addressable page in the particular physical page. The logical status can indicate whether the other addressable page contains invalid data. The first program operation overwrites the other addressable page, and the second program operation preserves the other addressable page. The first program operation can execute more quickly than the second program operation. The logic can also be applied for programming multiple-bit-per-cell memory not configured in a page mode.
