    Abstract: An EUV collector is rotated between or during operations of an EUV photolithography system. Rotating the EUV collector causes contamination to distribute more evenly over the collector's surface. This reduces the rate at which the EUV photolithography system loses image fidelity with increasing contamination and thereby increases the collector lifetime. Rotating the collector during operation of the EUV photolithography system can induce convection and reduce the contamination rate. By rotating the collector at sufficient speed, some contaminating debris can be removed through the action of centrifugal force.

A data structure is maintained recording translation between logical addresses in the logical memory space and physical addresses of the physical memory segments. The plurality of classifications includes a first classification and a second classification having different usage statistic requirements than the first classification. Logical addresses having the second classification can be redirected to physical segments allocated to logical addresses having the first classification, and the data structure can be updated to record redirected logical addresses.

    Abstract: Methods to manage multiple component carriers (CCs) efficiently in a mobile network with carrier aggregation (CA) enabled are proposed. For CC activation/deactivation, a single LCID value is used to represent both activation and deactivation command. A single command with multiple instructions is provided to activate and/or deactivate multiple CCs. In addition, unnecessary re-activation or re-inactivation of a CC is prevented, and explicit feedback for activation/deactivation is considered. For scheduling mechanism, a novel buffer status reporting (BSR) procedure is provided, where only one BSR is calculated after preparing all the transport blocks (TB) within one transmission time interval (TTI). Novel power headroom reporting (PHR) format and trigger are also provided. For DL-UL linking, various linking types are created based on whether there is carrier indicator field (CIF) in DL grant or UL grant.

    Abstract: A semiconductor device having a high-k gate dielectric, and a method of manufacture, is provided. A gate dielectric layer is formed over a substrate. An interfacial layer may be interposed between the gate dielectric layer and the substrate. A barrier layer, such as a TiN layer, having a higher concentration of nitrogen along an interface between the barrier layer and the gate dielectric layer is formed. The barrier layer may be formed by depositing, for example, a TiN layer and performing a nitridation process on the TiN layer to increase the concentration of nitrogen along an interface between the barrier layer and the gate dielectric layer. A gate electrode is formed over the barrier layer.

When cutting off the thyristor AC switch, the first switch is operated to conduct the first capacitor in a first direction for the AC current charging to the first capacitor, alternatively, the second switch is operated to conduct the second capacitor in a second direction for the AC current charging to the second capacitor, thereby lowering a current in the thyristor AC switch approaching a zero value and thus rapidly cutting off it.
