    Abstract: A device with a noise shaping function in gain control includes a first adder, an N-bit quantizer, a mapping circuit, a second adder, a first D flip-flop, a scaler, and a second D flip-flop. The first adder generates a first value according to an input signal, a second value, and a third value. The N-bit quantizer outputs a codeword to a controller according to the first value. Adjusting orders corresponding to codewords outputted by the N-bit quantizer are between a smallest predetermined negative value and a largest positive predetermined value, the controller utilizes an adjusting order corresponding to the codeword to make a signal generator generate a signal with adjusted power, and N is an integer greater than 2. The first D flip-flop, the scaler, and the second D flip-flop are used for providing a high-pass filter effect to the device.

    Abstract: A method for controlling a power converter includes turning on a power switch to maintain a desired output voltage, wherein the power switch is coupled to a primary winding to control a primary current flow and the output voltage is provided by a secondary winding. The method also includes adding a capacitance in parallel to the power switch at a time determined by a magnitude of an input voltage to the power converter. Here, the timing of adding the capacitance depends on the operation mode of the power controller. In a low input voltage mode, the capacitance is added in a demagnetization-time during which the secondary winding discharges. In a high input voltage mode, the capacitance is added in a discontinuous time.

First, a suitable reducing agent is added into a first metal salt solution, and first metal ions are reduced to form first metal nano particles. Next, after the reducing agent is decomposed, a second metal salt solution with a higher reduction potential than that of the first metal is added. Then, the first metal particles are oxidized to form first metal ions when the second metal ions are reduced on the surface of the first metal by electrochemical oxidation reduction reaction, and thus, second metal nano particles having a hollow structure and a larger surface area are obtained. The method is simple and the metal nano particles with uniform particle size are obtained by this method.
