    Abstract: An improved data mapping method for roadside LiDAR sensor data which is accurate, inexpensive to implement and that provides data which is easy to use and/or interpret. In an embodiment a computer processor running Geographic Information System (GIS)-based software obtains geographic coordinates data for a roadway section with objects within a detection range of a roadside LiDAR sensor system. Next, the computer processor receives roadside LiDAR sensor data expressed as LiDAR cartesian coordinates data for the roadway section, receives selection by a user of a plurality of reference objects defined by the geographic coordinates data and by the LiDAR cartesian coordinates data, calculates transition matrixes for transforming the LiDAR cartesian coordinates data into geographic coordinates data, and converts the LiDAR cartesian coordinates data into LiDAR geographic coordinates data using the transition matrixes.

The receiving device may transmit, to the transmitting device, a report indicating precoding information for each of at least a subset of the set of OAM modes, where the precoding information includes one or more first parameters common to the set of OAM modes and one or more second parameters for respective ones of the at least the subset of the set of OAM modes.

    Abstract: A virtual computer system includes virtualization software, and one or more physical network interfaces for connecting to one or more computer networks. The virtualization software supports one or more virtual machines (VMs), and exports one or more virtual network interfaces to the VM(s) to enable the VM(s) to access the computer network(s) through the physical network interface(s). The virtualization software modifies and filters network data frames from the VM(s) and from the physical network interface(s) to restrict one or more VMs to one or more virtual local area networks (VLANs) that are implemented within a VLAN topology. Restricting a VM to a VLAN limits the broadcast domain to which the VM belongs, which may reduce security risks facing the VM. Implementing the VLAN functionality within the virtualization software provides the functionality to every VM in the computer system, without requiring every VM to provide the functionality.

    Abstract: This disclosure is directed to filtering in a transceiver of an electronic device. In some instances, active analog filters may be deployed in the transceiver of the electronic device to achieve greater linearity and/or reduce noise in the transceiver. However, as signal bandwidth grows increasingly larger, an active analog filter may consume excessive power. To remedy the excessive power consumption, a passive ladder LC filter may be used. Some LC ladder filters may include a limited quality factor (Q), which may lead to undesirable effects in the transceiver (e.g., voltage droop). To address these undesirable effects, certain components in the LC ladder filter may be relocated from an input port to a feedback chain of an amplifier coupled to the LC ladder filter. The new structure may enable components in the LC ladder filter to be tuned without causing additional voltage droop across the LC ladder filter.

According to the method for preparing the protective starch-based film, surfaces of zinc oxide nanoparticles are enabled to adsorb tannic acid and iron ions under the action of metal coordination by controlling the pH to obtain metallic polyphenol network coated zinc oxide nanoparticles, dispersion of the obtained nanoparticles is added to a starch gelatinization solution, and a melanin-like precursor is simultaneously added to form mixed liquid; and by controlling the pH of the mixed solution, ?-? stacking, self-polymerization and metal coordination are induced, so that a stable protective starch-based film with a nano-reinforced interpenetrating network structure is formed.

A user equipment (UE) may determine a duplexing configuration (e.g., frequency division duplexing (FDD) or time division duplexing (TDD)) of a carrier based on one or more synchronization signals. The UE may then receive a master information block (MIB) on the carrier, and may interpret one or more fields of the MIB based on the duplexing configuration of the carrier. The configuration dependent fields may include a special subframe field, a system information location field, or both. In some cases, such as in a TDD configuration, the UE may postulate a special subframe configuration of the carrier in order to receive the MIB, and may update the postulated special subframe configuration after receiving the MIB.

    Abstract: An anti-biofouling shape-memory composite aerogel includes a unidirectional chitosan aerogel channel, a plant polyphenol coating, and a polyphenol/iron ion chelate. The plant polyphenol coating is evenly distributed on an inner wall of the unidirectional chitosan aerogel channel, and the polyphenol/iron ion chelate is located at a top end of the unidirectional chitosan aerogel channel. The anti-biofouling chitosan-based composite aerogel has an evaporation rate of 1.96 kg·m?2·h?1 at an illumination intensity of 1 kW/m2. The composite aerogel has shape-memory properties, and can quickly restore its original shape in water after extrusion, thereby accelerating the diffusion of substances to complete the modification of inner channels. In this way, desirable anti-biofouling ability is achieved, and excellent structural stability as well as continuous and efficient photothermal water evaporation are guaranteed in a complex water environment.

In some cases, a CSI procedure may be triggered by sending a sequence on a specific resource. In some cases, a CSI procedure may be triggered by a sidelink control information (SCI) message which does not include a sidelink data grant. Techniques are described which avoid CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) resource collision. For example, CSI-RS resources may be selected based on channel sensing, UE identifiers, or a combination thereof. In some cases, UEs may be configured subsets of a CSI-RS resource pool for sending CSI-RS.

For a first reporting quantity, the first UE may trigger the second UE to transmit a CSI reference signal (RS), and the first UE may then receive the CSI-RS to determine CSI based on the CSI-RS. Additionally or alternatively, for other reporting quantities, the first UE may transmit the CSI-RS to the second UE, and the second UE may transmit channel state feedback to the first UE based on measuring CSI for the received CSI-RS, where the first UE determines the CSI based on the channel state feedback.

In some systems, a base station and multiple user equipment (UEs) may participate in a federated learning operation in which each UE may transmit an unencoded uplink signal to the base station indicating one or more parameters associated with updating a local model at the UE. The base station may aggregate and average the received parameters to update a global model at the base station. Additionally, each UE that transmits an unencoded uplink signal may transmit reporting information associated with the unencoded uplink signal indicating that the unencoded uplink signal is transmitted or that a downlink control information was received. The base station may use the reporting information to determine an averaging value with which to average the aggregation of the received parameters.

An orthogonal frequency-division multiple access (OFDMA) configuration of an uplink channel is identified for communications in an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band. An OFDMA waveform is generated based on the identified OFDMA configuration. The OFDMA waveform is communicated in a signal in the unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band. A virtual cell identifier of a first base station may be associated with transmissions between the first base station and a first user equipment (UE). A set of common resource blocks may be identified for transmission of a demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) between the first base station and the first UE. A configuration of an uplink channel may be dynamically selected for uplink communications in an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band. A waveform may be generated based on the selected configuration. The waveform may be communicated in a signal in the unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band.
