The display panel is configured to display images. Areas where afterimages of dynamic images occur are identified according to comparison results of dither values. Tailing phenomenon of the dynamic images may be relieved by transmitting backlight data without brightness to a second backlight sub-area corresponding to where the afterimages occur. Furthermore, because frequency multiplication is not applied, risks of display instability will not increase.

    Abstract: A central learning model is deployed as a user model and as an assistant model. Sensitive information utterances from a corpus of previously stored conversation language corresponding to user queries and chat agent responses thereto are used to train the user model to become an updated user model and to train the assistant model to become an updated assistant model, respectively. The user model provides user contexts corresponding to user queries to the assistant model and the assistant model provides assistant contexts corresponding to chat agent responses to the user model. During training, the user model does not provide plain-text queries to the assistant model and the assistant model does not provide plain-text responses to the user model. The updated assistant model may facilitate a federated training process produce an updated central model. An updated central model may be used to provide real-time chat agent responses to live user queries.

The lower layer further has an array of electrodes and a dielectric layer, e.g. Norland Optical adhesive 61, coating thereon. Such arrangement of the digital microfluidic device allows quick and homogeneous heating of droplets to lower the heating voltage, shorten the reaction time, and prevent the dielectric layer from breakdown during the thermal cycle.

Pulse width modulation (PCM) data between the time schedule controller and the driver IC is transmitted in a decoded manner, and pulse amplitude modulation (PAM) data is transmitted in an undecoded manner, reducing a transmission rate between the time schedule controller and the driver IC, and thereby reducing or eliminating risks of electromagnetic interference (EMI). The preparation method comprises the following steps: subjecting phenyl sulfide as a raw material to a halogenation reaction to obtain 4-halophenyl sulfide; subjecting the 4-halophenyl sulfide to a sulfhydrylation reaction to obtain a 4-phenylthio-phenylthiolate; and subjecting the 4-phenylthio-phenylthiolate to acidification. The preparation method of the present disclosure avoids the use of materials such as thiophenol which pollutes the environment, and realizes efficient recycling of the reaction materials, solvents, water and the like. The preparation method of the present disclosure is a green process for the synthesis of 4-phenylthio-phenylthiol without organic waste, waste acid and waste water discharge.
