  • Patent number: 5116107
Abstract: A pneumatic braking system for a tractor and trailer which delivers air to the trailer substantially first and in a greater amount than to the tractor but which continues to deliver to the tractor until the pressure at the tractor approaches the pressure at the trailer. This gives better control and substantially avoids jack-knifing. A valve is also provided to lessen the time factor of air to the tractor when a greater braking pressure is applied. Also when "bob-tailing" only substantially 50% of air is delivered to the tractor to prevent over-braking.

  • Patent number: 5113892
Abstract: A pressure-activated diaphragm valve which when installed in the main up-stream side of a pressurized line, responds to signals from a control unit to shut off the main supply line and at the same time, opens a drain port on the down-stream side of the valve. When used as a freeze protection system, the main water line is shut off and the drain port opened before the freeze point, thereby, eliminating water damage from frozen, broken pipes. The valve also is self-cleaning and has a magnetic plug to remove and keep metallic particles out of the control chamber and the control unit has automatic and manual modes.

  • Patent number: 5101753
Abstract: An attachable, swivel seat for an inflatable boat that sets firmly and freely on the main frame of the motor mount, the seat having adjustable cross members to fit its own motor mount or most other types of motor mounts. This attachable seat also has an adjustable brace from the cross member to the floor of the boat and a platform behind it which can support a battery or the like, and said attachment also provides space where fishing rod holders may be mounted. This attachable seat may be moved forward or backward and places the occupant above the gunwales in a position to comfortably operate the controls of a trolling motor with plenty of leg room and in the event of a tear or serious air leak or the boat capsizes, the seat is a floatation device.

  • Patent number: 5092091
Abstract: A concrete control key-joint and divider form made from plastic which is substantially wedge-shaped with vertically spaced holes to receive plastic stakes with the stakes being secured to the plastic form by plastic bolts at substantially its mid-section, so that the form can be easily set to grade and locked to the stakes, then the plastic stakes and bolts can be cut off to form a smooth screeding surface and an expansion joint. The forms also provide transversely spaced holes through which smooth rods or rebar may be inserted to firmly hold the form in a vertical manner and yet allow the concrete slabs to expand and contract. The plastic material is also designed to expand and contract at substantially the same expansion coefficient as cured concrete, thus minimizing the working of the key-joint.
