Abstract: The application is directed to methods and devices for estimating corrosion of a material. One of the methods includes obtaining data regarding corrosion. The data is obtained from various sources, such as but not limited to sensors and observational data. The data is then trained to provide for a more complete data set. The trained data is then used to estimate the expected amount of corrosion for a given situation.

Abstract: A desktop dispenser includes a stationary base including a bottom member defining a bottom open chamber, a vacuum mount including a suction disc positioned in the bottom open chamber and an actuation rod extended from the top wall of the suction disc, and a carrier coupled to the stationary base and biasable between a first position and a second position. When the carrier is in the first position, the actuation rod of the vacuum mount is in an initial position; when the carrier is in the second position, the driving member lifts the actuation rod of the vacuum mount to an acting position. Thus, the desktop tape dispenser can be adhered to the top of a desk.

Abstract: A trigger-operated adhesive dispenser includes a rack, a handle affixed to the rack, a swing frame pivotally mounted at the rack, a cutter blade fixedly mounted at the rack, a stopper member pivotally mounted at the rack, and a trigger mounted at the handle. When the trigger is not pressed, the swing frame is stopped by the stopper member and prohibited from being biased, allowing the adhesive tape to be pulled out and adhered to the object to be packed. When pressing the trigger, the trigger will push the stopper member to release the swing frame, enabling the swing frame to be biased, and thus the cutter blade can forced to cut off the applied adhesive tape.

When the first member and the second member are combined, the first member and the second member form a big tape dispenser to mount a big tape roll on the second tape roll mount and cut a tape of the big tape roll by the cutter. When the first member and the second member are separated, the first member forms a small tape dispenser to mount a small tape roll on the first tape roll mount and cut a tape of the small tape roll by the cutter.
