  • Patent number: 6672532
Abstract: A tape dispenser. The dispenser includes a main body having a connecting board, two side arms at opposite ends of the connecting board respectively, two roll mounts at interior sides of the side arms respectively, four guiding pieces at interior sides of the side arms and below the connecting board and a cutting portion at exterior side of the side arm. A tape roll can be installed at between the side arms by inserting the roll mounts into a central hole of the tape roll. Each roll mount is provided with two stop arms extended substantially parallel to the rotating axis of the tape roll, which has a free end and a block on the exterior side thereof. The blocks are pressed by the tape roll to make the stop arms bent so that they will provide a friction to the tape roll, and a cutter is mounted on the connecting board for cutting a tape of the tape roll off.

  • Patent number: 6669070
Abstract: An adhesive tape dispenser comprises a dispensing body and a blade. The dispensing body is of one-piece injection molded plastic construction and has a front portion for the mounting of the blade, two roll transport portions for rotatably fitting a roll of adhesive tape thereon, and at least one tensile anti-reverse member extended outward from the exterior surfaces of the roll transport portions and following the rotational direction of the adhesive tape roll during tape application. As such, the adhesive tape roll can be rotated forward to apply tape, but the adhesive tape roll cannot be easily rotated backward due to the braking action occurring at the rear extremity of the tensile anti-reverse member.

  • Patent number: 6662844
Abstract: An adhesive tape dispenser is comprised of a dispensing body that provides for the loading of a roll of tape at its rear portion and a blade mounted on the dispensing body. A roller, a guide wheel, and a pawl are respectively pivotally mounted in the dispensing body. The roller has a plurality of protrusions arranged around one end thereof. The pawl has a pressing member capable of positioning against the circumferential face of the roller as well as an engaging portion capable of becoming engaged between two protrusions of the roller, and the pawl is postured to the rear by an elastic member. Tape is inserted between the roller and the pawl and then routed pass the guide wheel to the area of the blade and when it is applied forward, the roller correspondingly rotates forward in the same direction and the protrusions allow the engaging portion to slide over them.

  • Patent number: 6641081
Abstract: A tape dispenser includes a handle, and a base plate which is disposed at an end of the handle, which has a tape mount pivoted at back side thereof and a seat member disposed at front side thereof. The seat member provides a cylinder at front side thereof for free rotating, a cutter at front end thereof above the cylinder and a plate at front end thereof between the cylinder and the cutter. An attracting piece is disposed on the plate of the seat member, which can produce static electricity on the surface thereof. The attracting piece has an adhesive layer at back side thereof, which can make the attracting piece secured at the plate and can prevent the static electricity on the attraction piece spreading to the seat member. Thus, the tail of the tape can be attracted by the attracting piece.
