  • Publication number: 20090281510
Abstract: A collection bag for male incontinence covers a portion of the penis. The collection bag has flexible side walls forming a fluid container for holding urine. A mouth to the bag receives the penis and possibly the scrotum. The bag has conventional handles like a shopping bag. • Publication number: 20030173804
Abstract: We have invented a rear facing baby safety seat for use in automobiles that includes a reinforced steel and plastic head protector assembly to decrease the likelihood of injury to the child in the event of an accident. That a head protector, like a “helmet” be reinforced by steel and be a part of the baby seat and that neither one be used separately. That the baby seat and head protector, be joined together by a one half inch square solid steel bar, fastened permanently on the head protector, that slides up and down inside a square steel frame fastened permanently to the baby seat, with adjustment holes and steel pins to adjust for the proper height and width of the baby's head and body.

  • Publication number: 20010045146
Abstract: An apparatus for simultaneously forming a plurality of closely spaced, parallel grooves having a web between them in a thin-walled tube is described. The apparatus includes a tube holding mechanism, a rotating cutting tool and a device for driving the cutting tool. The cutting tool includes a single insert form cutter for forming the grooves. The insert includes a plurality of cutting blades and chip relief members which prevent chips from building up in the tool. The chip relief members are generally triangle-shaped and are disposed on the cutting edge of the insert form cutter.

  • Patent number: 6186559
Abstract: A tube coupling assembly includes a tube having an end form for attachment to a hose with a notch extending radially inwardly into the end form. The tube coupling assembly also includes a ferrule disposed about the end form and having an end snap-locked into the notch. The ferrule is adapted to be crimped to secure the hose to the tube between the ferrule and the end form.

  • Patent number: 5829289
Abstract: A method of controlling a crimp press for crimping an assembly includes the steps of placing an assembly in an open crimp die of a crimp press, advancing a ram of the crimp press to a predetermined position to close the crimp die, determining whether a pressure in the ram is within a predetermined range, and alerting an operator if the pressure in the ram is not within the predetermined range.

  • Patent number: 4545118
Abstract: A method and apparatus for attaching sliders and bottom stops to a slide fastener chain having longitudinally spaced gaps free of fastener elements, in which the chain is conveyed forwardly until a gap is detected. The chain is stopped and the gap area widened. A rotor movable beneath the chain is adapted to carry a slider and is also formed with a die plate portion. The rotor rotates to deliver the slider to the gap, thread the slider onto the fastener elements of the chain, and place the die plate beneath the gap across from bottom stop punch and chain cutter means which then fix a bottom stop to the chain and separate adjacent fastener element ends.

  • Patent number: 4206669
Abstract: Apparatus for producing gaps in zipper chain is especially adapted for chain having plastic elements of U-shape joined by imbedded connector threads and stitched to tape. Apparatus includes slitting means which slice into and demolish fastener elements in the gap as the zipper is drawn along, and lancer elements which are periodically activated to cut the connecting threads at the beginning and end of the gap. Stitches and tape in gap are left intact.
