A hanging knob can be a stud device attached to any wall for hanging a wall cover. The stud device comprises a mount attached to a wall, and a knob extending from the mount and extending outwardly from the wall. The knob is configured to receive an opening of the wall cover to hang the wall cover. A variety of such stud devices is provided.

    Abstract: Kits and methods for protecting entranceways, such as elevator entranceways are disclosed. An entranceway protection kit includes a protective pad that includes padding material disposed between the pad surfaces. A pad fastener, such as a pad fastener surface, is coupled to the pad's surface and is configured and arranged to removably couple the protective pad to the entranceway. The protective pad includes a folding stitch line to enable the crisp folding of the pad around entranceway corners. The pad has a low-profile so as to no substantially decrease the clearance of the entranceway when installed. Fasteners are coupled to the entranceway with adhesive that do not leave a residue on the entranceway surface when removed. The protective pad includes baffles to stabilize the padding material. The protective pad also includes a transparent window or envelope to display information, such as floor numbers.
