The latch preferably has a catch that is transitionable between an open configuration and a closed configuration. In the open configuration, the catch is preferably configured to enable insertion and removal of the latchable member into and from the receiver channel. In the closed configuration, the catch is preferably configured to at least partially close the receiver channel and to prevent removal of the latchable member from the receiver channel.

The transition portion extends in a first direction from a side of the U-shaped section. The first and second legs extend in a direction other than the first direction. The bend redirects the application portion from a second direction to a third direction. The second direction is angled from the first direction.

The trim is a separate piece attached to the elevator cover after openings are made in the trim. The trim slits formed therein are sized and positioned to receive hanging knobs. The trim is made of a flexible material that can be deformed to broaden the openings to more easily position the openings over the knobs. A hanging knob can be a stud device attached to any wall for hanging a wall cover. The stud device comprises a mount attached to a wall, and a knob extending from the mount and extending outwardly from the wall. The knob is configured to receive an opening of the wall cover to hang the wall cover. A variety of such stud devices is provided.

Additionally, the present disclosure is directed to methods of manufacture of such footwear. The footwear includes a variable sole length. The integrated sole includes a single unit adjustable sub-assembly, a front sole, and a rear sole. The adjustable sub-assembly includes a front portion, a rear portion, and multiple mid sidewall portions that are longitudinally positioned between the front portion and the rear portion. The integrated sole includes a sole sidewall that is formed by at least the mid sidewalls and sidewalls of the front and rear soles. The adjustable sub-assembly is longitudinally positioned between and coupled to each of the front and rear soles. The sole length is varied by varying the adjustable sub-assembly length. A footwear upper is coupled to the integrated sole to form the adjustable footwear.

Abstract: Kits and methods for protecting entranceways, such as elevator entranceways are disclosed. An entranceway protection kit includes a protective pad that includes padding material disposed between the pad surfaces. A pad fastener, such as a pad fastener surface, is coupled to the pad's surface and is configured and arranged to removably couple the protective pad to the entranceway. The protective pad includes a folding stitch line to enable the crisp folding of the pad around entranceway corners. The pad has a low-profile so as to no substantially decrease the clearance of the entranceway when installed. Fasteners are coupled to the entranceway with adhesive that do not leave a residue on the entranceway surface when removed. The protective pad includes baffles to stabilize the padding material. The protective pad also includes a transparent window or envelope to display information, such as floor numbers.

Abstract: This invention relates to a brake caliper adapted for use in a vehicle disc brake assembly and method and apparatus for producing the same. The method for producing the brake caliper comprises the steps of: (a) providing a mold member having at least two mold sections; (b) providing a core member having at least a first male extension which is adapted to form an integrally cast locating recess in the brake caliper which is used as a locating surface for subsequent machining of the brake caliper; (c) disposing the core member in the mold member in a predetermined position; (d) supplying a suitable material to the mold member so as to form a brake caliper within the mold; (e) removing the brake caliper from the mold, wherein the brake caliper includes an integrally cast locating recess formed therein by the first male extension of the core member; and (f) machining the brake caliper using at least the integrally cast locating recess formed therein as a locating surface.
