Abstract: A method for the treatment of cerebrovascular disorders and/or disorders associated with cerebral senility and/or allergic disorders, proliferative skin disorders, and bronchodilation which method comprises the administration of an effective, non-toxic amount of a compound of formula (I): ##STR1## or if appropriate a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each independently represent alkyl or a moiety of formula (a):--(CH.sub.2).sub.m --A (a)wherein m represents zero or an integer 1, 2 or 3; A represents a substituted or unsubstituted cyclic hydrocarbon radical; andR.sup.3 represents a halogen atom, a nitro group, or a group --NR.sup.4 R.sup.5 wherein R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 each independently represents hydrogen, alkyl or alkylcarbonyl or R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 together with the nitrogen to which they are attached forming an optionally substituted, heterocyclic group; certain novel compounds falling within formula (I) and compositions comprising such compounds.

Abstract: Provided are trnasgenic plants comprising cells transformed or transfected with a recombinant DNA construct containing a coding sequence which encodes phytochrome A, which when expressed, causes the stimulation of phytochrome A and confers upon said plant the ability to undergo proximity-conctitional dwarfing Also provided are a recombinant DNA construct containing a coding sequence encoding phytochrome A, which when expressed, is effective in conferring the trait of proximity-conditional dwarfing on plants comprising cells transformed ar tansfected with this construct, a method for conferring proximity-conditional dwarfing upon plants, transgenic plants produced by this method, and seeds obtained by growing such plants.

Abstract: An attachment assembly for securing large excavation teeth on large earth excavation equipment including an excavation tooth, an adaptor having a tapered nose piece at one end thereof for carrying the tooth and defining means rearwardly of the nose piece for securing the adaptor to the excavation implement, a pin for securing the tooth in place on the nose piece and a wear cap adapted to be carried by an engage the adaptor so as to abut a rear portion of the tooth for reducing wear of the adaptor during use. The wear cap defines a forward tooth abutment surface, a first inclined lower surface adapted to abut a first portion of the adaptor rearwardly of the nose piece, a second inclined lower surface spaced from the first inclined lower surface and adapted to abut a second portion of the adaptor and an opened channel disposed between the first and second inclined surfaces and extending transversely through the wear cap.

A moisture-impermeable barrier layer and an adhesive layer are disposed between the hologram and the photograph, so that the photograph can be secured to the hologram while the former is still wet. The supported hologram, the barrier and adhesive layers and the photograph are sandwiched between first and second sheets. The hologram is sufficiently adhered to the photograph that, if an attempt is made to separate the supported hologram from the photograph, fracture will occur within the hologram or between the hologram and its support sheet, so that at least part of the hologram will remain attached to the photograph, so that it is not possible to detach the hologram from the photograph, leaving the hologram attached to the first sheet, and thus substitute a different photograph in the laminar structure.
