  • Publication number: 20050263414
Abstract: A dispensing capsule and venting system for dispensing materials into a container. The dispensing capsule has a capsule body with a sidewall having at least one vent, and a bottom wall which is partially detachably attached to the capsule body. A cap portion is provided that has a closed top end and a sidewall extending below the top end, the cap portion being placed in the capsule body to define a material containing cavity. An activation device is provide for partially separating the bottom wall from the capsule body. Vents are provided to insure no residual fluid collects within the dispensing capsule, that the user can fully extract all fluid of the from the holding container and that pressure can be equalized between the internal pressure of the bottle with the ambient outside pressure. A method of using the dispensing capsule is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20050242134
Abstract: A low friction hanger system for reducing the lateral force required to move a hanger having a hook and a wider, lower balance beam portion on a rod. The system includes a friction reducing element located between a hanger hook of the hanger and a supporting rod. The friction reducing element can include a roller or low friction material either integral with the hanger hook or retrofitted thereto. The friction reducing element can also include low friction material on the rod which is either integral therewith or retrofitted thereto. Optionally, lateral force displacement magnets or laterally extending arms will aid in the lateral displacement the hanger relative to other hangers.

  • Patent number: 5816848
Abstract: An arrangement is provided for relocating a wall-mounted electrical outlet. A flexible electrical cord is mounted in a resilient, extensible housing between male and female connectors. The cord is gathered into an appropriate configuration to be extensible upon application of an axial tension force. A two-piece restrictor is slidable along and surrounds the cord in its open position or configuration. In its closed configuration, the restrictor pinches or crimps the cord to prevent transmission of remote tension force to a fixed electrical outlet. A slot in the female connector is arranged to engage an elongated member, such as a screw, protruding from the wall to hold the female connector at a predetermined position along a wall remote from a fixed outlet.

  • Patent number: 5341930
Abstract: A package having a separable overlay is formed by a high speed web roll manufacturing method and adapted for multiple marketing of retail goods. The package has at least three layered sheets of flexible material, the outermost sheet being quickly and easily removable from the remainder of the package without disruption thereof. The package may thus be converted from one for marketing goods under a label of a seasonal or special nature to a package for marketing goods under a label of a general or everyday nature, to thereby extend the profitable shelf-life of the package.

  • Patent number: 4561128
Abstract: A method for making garments having fused seams. A strip of double-sided fusible tape is placed adjacent a seam and the tape is pressed between the seam and an adjacent panel of fabric, a free end of which forms part of the seam, and then the seam is steam-pressed against the panel, bonding the seam to the panel. Alternatively, the tape is placed adjacent the fabric prior to sewing and thereby forms part of the seam.
