Abstract: A lamp for elongate lighting means in which the respective lighting means is arranged in the inner space of a flat, trough-like housing and an anti-dazzle unit is associated with the lighting means which consists of several mutually spaced apart grid surfaces of light permeable material which are likewise largely located in the inner space of the trough-like housing.

Abstract: A spotlight is described which has a bar-like carrier part which is subdivided via a separating plane into a fixed base part and a pivotal part which is hinged to this base part via a pivotal hinge and which simultaneously forms the carrier for the respective lighting means. The pivotal hinge is arranged eccentrically with respect to the bar axis and a weight compensation is in particular provided between the pivotal part and the lighting means so that a pivotal movement can be effected with a small positioning force.

Abstract: A lighting system is described for the uniform illumination of restricted working surfaces in which a large area reflector is used which partially spans the working surface and which is for example positioned above the head height of a standing person. This large area reflector is mounted on a vertical support which simultaneously carries the light source required to irradiate this large area reflector.

Abstract: A functional chair is described the backrest of which can be pivoted relative to the seat and in which the seat can also be lowered in the region of the front edge. For this purpose at least one lowering lever is provided which is mounted on the one hand relative to the seat and on the other hand relative to a fixed axle of the frame and which is adjustably connected, via a transmission for movement in the opposite direction, to a link which is connected with the backrest and is likewise pivotally mounted on a fixed axle of the frame.

Abstract: A working table is described in which the rear support elements are formed as hollow sectional parts in order to achieve the highest possible degree of variability in the provision of working levels and storage levels. Coupling elements which are secured to the surfaces or to transverse support elements are connectable to the hollow sectional parts in shape-fitted and force-locked manner.

Abstract: A lighting unit, especially for a lighting system is described and is characterized by a carrier section which has a flattened elongate cross-section which terminates in acute angles at both ends, with all functional elements being concentrated in the central part which always has the largest vertical dimension. Changes of the dimensions lead, as a result of the selected layout to no substantial change in the outer appearance, so that powerful systems can also be realized with the same shape without impairing the external appearance.

Abstract: A chair is disclosed comprising in combination four legs, seat, backrest and a hidden central underframe that supports the seat. Each leg of the chair comprises two leg rods defining a central recess for receiving an arm projecting outwardly from the hidden central underframe.

Abstract: A lamp system is described of particularly graceful construction which operates with a boom consisting of flexible tube section. This arrangement makes the lamp system easy to package and simple to transport despite the large dimensions of the assembled lamp. The flexible tube sections are capable of being connected together mechanically and electrically via plug connections and can also either be directly connected to the particular lamp head or connected thereto via flexible electrical cables.

Abstract: An adjustable lamp with a jointed boom is described which is pivotable about a vertical axis on a base part and which also has at least one pivot joint with a vertical axis. All pivot axes are simultaneously executed as electrical coaxial connections.

Abstract: Picture-screen apparatus are integrated into a conference table to be viewed by conference participants. The conference table is suited both for video conferences with conference participants who are at different locations and also for normal conferences with participants who are all present at the table. Television cameras needed for video conferences can be removed from the surface of the table, if the table is to be used for normal conferences. The picture-screen apparatus arranged below the table top do not interfere during normal conferences and can also be utilized for bringing visual information of any kind to the participants.

Abstract: A lighting system is described which consists of a few basic units which can essentially be combined together in any desired sequence and which consist of spot lamps and also of stiff and flexible connecting members. Each spot lamp has two oppositely disposed sockets into which plug connectors provided at the ends of the connecting members can be inserted so that the spot lights can be joined in series or in arrays. The connecting members can also cooperate in defining the power connections.

The ring-like housing is clampingly held by, and spaced apart from, the central part which is made of metal. Moreover, the overall arrangement is pivotable about the carrier tube through the which the feedlines pass.
