    Abstract: The invention relates to epoxy compounds which can be polymerized to give polyethers and which are formed from polyalkyl-1-oxadiazaspirodecanes of the formula ##STR1## in which X is a group ##STR2## and an epihalogenohydrin by linking the nitrogen atom of the 5-membered ring to the 2,3-epoxypropyl radical. Polyethers which have degrees of polymerization of up to approx. 50 and which exhibit a very low volatility and are suitable as light stabilizers for organic polymers can be obtained by heating the epoxides.
