  • Patent number: 5609524
Abstract: A slot machine is provided with a plurality of motors each arranged for rotating a respective one of a plurality of reels. A first drive device starts driving the motors in response to a start signal, and stops driving the motors in accordance with stop signals sequentially generated for respective ones of the motors. A second drive device is provided for driving a part of the motors when it is determined that there is at least an effective winning symbol combination, to rotate those ones of the reels which stop with symbols of the obtained winning symbol combination, again in a special fashion to make an appeal to the winner.

  • Patent number: 5584764
Abstract: A slot machine having observation windows formed in a 3.times.3 matrix on a front panel. Behind each observation window, a reel is mounted which is rotated by a pulse motor. When a reel stops, one symbol appears in the central area of each observation window. Eight winning lines are provided including three vertical lines, three horizontal lines and two diagonal lines. These winning lines are made valid in accordance with the number of inserted coins. The reels are stopped in a predetermined order. If a combination of symbols on a valid winning line is a winning symbol combination, coins corresponding in number to the rank of the winning symbol combination are paid out.

  • Patent number: 5531640
Abstract: An endless belt conveyor is disposed between a coin receptacle and a hopper. Coins stored in the coin receptacle fall from an outlet at the lower portion of the coin receptacle and are supported and held on the endless belt. When the endless belt circulates, coins on the endless belt are transported toward the hopper and dropped into the bucket. The bucket is provided therein with a first sensor for detecting a lower limit of the number of coins and a second sensor for detecting an upper limit of the number of coins. In response to a signal from the first sensor, the endless belt circulates, and in response to a signal from the second sensor, the endless belt stops. The coin receptacle has a supply port for replenishment with coins. A protective cover is securely fixed to the supply port, the protective cover having a lattice pitch allowing a coin to pass but preventing a human hand from entering.
