  • Publication number: 20240142417
Abstract: An automatic online analyzer validation and calibration system receives operating parameter input signals from sensors, receives a measured value of a selected process variable from a physical analyzer, determines a difference between the measured value and an inferred value of the selected process variable determined by a controller based on the operating parameter input signals using an inferential analyzer; and if the difference between the measured value and the inferred value exceeds a threshold, initiates a recalibration of the physical analyzer or recalibration of the inferential analyzer. In one example, the automatic online analyzer validation and calibration is used in a gas dehydration system to validate and calibrate a physical moisture analyzer.

  • Patent number: 11910751
Abstract: The robotic system for harvesting, and performing pre- and post-harvesting tasks of date palm trees includes three main parts: a truck platform, a scissor lift, and a multi-task system. The truck platform provides mobility for the whole system, while the scissor lift raises the multi-task system to the top of the palm tree. The multi-task system is fixed on top of the scissor lift and includes a large basin that catches fruits during harvesting. A circular track is fixed within the basin and includes a 2-degree-of-freedom (DOF) slider base mounted thereon. On top of the 2-DOF slider base is a robotic arm fitted with the proper tool (harvesting tool, maintenance tool or bagging system) for the task to be performed. The circular track has pivoting sections, and the basin has a flexible portion in the rear of the truck platform to allow the system to surround the palm tree.

  • Publication number: 20230214559
Abstract: Systems and methods include a computer-implemented method for generating and modeling oil viscosity profiles. An Equation-of-State (EOS) and a field pressure-volumetemperature (PVT) model are generated by reconciling historical well data received for multiple wells in a field of interest. Oil properties trends for checking logical tendencies for in-situ oil composition for local data and at initial conditions are generated using the EOS and the field PVT model, calibrated using measured lab-available oil density, and used to generate an in-situ oil composition for local data and conditions. An oil viscosity profile, generated in the field PVT model based on the oil properties trends, is calibrated and modeled in a two-dimensional PVT model using lab oil viscosity. The two-dimensional PVT model is tested using static and dynamic simulation models in terms of the EOS, compositions, composition gradient, and oil properties, including viscosity.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods, systems, and computer-readable medium to perform operations including generating a material balance plot for a plurality of wells in a gas reservoir. The material balance plot includes, for each of the plurality of wells, respective static pressure/compressibility factor (P/Z) values plotted against cumulative production in the gas reservoir. The operations further include calculating, for each of the plurality of wells, a respective slope of the respective P/Z values plotted against cumulative production. Also, the operations include grouping, based on the respective slopes and locations of the plurality of wells, each well into a respective cluster. Additionally, the operations include designating each respective cluster as a separate compartment in the gas reservoir.

  • Patent number: 10658148
Abstract: System and method for Ultrafast Electron Diffraction (UED) and Microscopy (UEM) configured to image atomic motion in real time with sub-femtosecond temporal resolution. Presented methodology utilizes the interaction of the pump optical pulse with the initial electron pulse that has been gated with the gating optical pulse. The initial electron pulse is generated in the electron microscope by the pulse of auxiliary light. In one case, the pump and gating pulses have attosecond duration and are duplicates of one another. The use of attosecond optical pulse (with frequency spectrum extending over two octaves in the visible and flanking spectral ranges) for optical gating of a pulse of electrons.
