Abstract: A medical apparatus for extending the neck of a patient without manually lifting the patient. This apparatus has a gel pad assembly encapsulating an inflatable bag connected to two hoses for inflation and deflation purposes. The inflatable bag is positioned beneath the shoulders, thereby lifting the shoulders and hence extending the neck when the inflatable bag is inflated.

Abstract: The multiple shot spear gun includes a central rotary shaft having a plurality of relatively stationary spear launching tubes or barrels distributed therearound in a cylindrical pattern. The number of spear launching tubes or barrels is not limited, but may comprise any practicable number. Rotation of the central shaft causes a disc to rotate. The disc has a ramp or tang thereon that sequentially engages the trigger of each of the spear launchers as the disc is rotated. A safety disc is rotated with rotation of the central shaft. The safety disc includes a plurality of holes therein. A spring-loaded catch engages one of the holes as the disc rotates with rotation of the central shaft. Thus, the operator of the multiple shot spear gun must release the safety catch after each shot to rotate the central shaft further for the next shot.

A hand wheel is rotatably secured to the body without a possibility of longitudinal displacement relative thereto and has an inner thread cooperating with the outer thread of the sampling tube for longitudinally displacing the tube in opposite directions. At an end of the sampling tube remote from the body a valve structure is provided for controlling fluid flow through the sampling tube.

Abstract: A bottle feeding device, including a bottom piece of a bottle body having a first perimeter wall and a top piece of a bottle body having a second perimeter wall. The top piece is pivotally affixed to the bottom piece and is rotatable with respect to the bottom piece about an axis extending generally orthogonally through the first perimeter wall and the second perimeter wall. A pair of detent features is provided to restrain the bottom piece and the top piece into either a first relative rotational position or a second relative rotational position. A nipple is operatively affixed to the top piece of the bottle by a nipple ring threaded onto the top piece of the bottle. A method of feeding an infant and of manufacturing the bottle are also provided.

The lower tank is arranged to selectively discharge the stored water either to a toilet to flush the toilet, or to a public drainage system, either manually or by timed discharged, to avoid overflow in the lower tank.
