  • Publication number: 20230167994
Abstract: A first power consumption estimation unit estimates as a first power consumption, a power consumption generated in a first operation mode in which operation of an air conditioner is suspended at a timing when a room equipped with the air conditioner turns not to be used and the operation of the air conditioner is resumed so that a temperature of the room reaches a preset temperature at a timing when the room turns to be used. A second power consumption estimation unit estimates as a second power consumption, a power consumption generated in a second operation mode in which the operation of the air conditioner is continued even while the room is not being used. A determination unit compares the first power consumption with the second to determine whether to suspend or continue the operation of the air conditioner at the timing when the room turns not to be used.

  • Publication number: 20220113042
Abstract: An air treatment apparatus includes: a total heat exchanger; a heat supply device having a heater and a cooler; an upper damper; and a complex dehumidification device having a first stationary desiccant and a second stationary desiccant. The upper damper allows return air (RA) to flow into one of the first stationary desiccant and the second stationary desiccant, and allows outdoor air (OA) to flow into the other one of the first stationary desiccant and the second stationary desiccant. The upper damper switches between a return air path and an outdoor air path so that the return air (RA) and the outdoor air (OA) pass through different ones of the first stationary desiccant and the second stationary desiccant.

  • Patent number: 11293655
Abstract: An air-conditioning apparatus includes an air-to-air heat exchanger that transfers at least sensible heat between outdoor air and indoor air, an air-to-refrigerant heat exchanger provided in an air supply passage to transfer heat between the outdoor air and refrigerant, and a humidifier provided in part of the air supply passage that is located downstream of the air-to-refrigerant heat exchange. The humidifier humidifies the outdoor air. A communication passage causes part of the air exhaust passage that is located upstream of the air-to-air heat exchanger and part of the air supply passage that is located downstream of the air-to-air heat exchanger to communicate with each other. An opening/closing damper opens and closes the communication passage. A controller controls a refrigerant temperature in the air-to-refrigerant heat exchanger based on an indoor temperature, and controls operation of the opening/closing damper based on an indoor humidity.

  • Patent number: 11262092
Abstract: When a humidity condition, including a humidity detected by a temperature and humidity sensor and a humidification load sensing unit falling below a threshold value, is met, an outside air conditioner supplies the heated and humidified air into the room. When the humidity condition is met during the indoor heating operation, the indoor heating operation is stopped or weakened. When the humidity condition is met, only the outside air conditioner is subjected to a heating and humidifying operation. Since the indoor air is not heated by the inside air conditioner more than necessary, when a heating load is low and a humidification load is present, a “conflicting state” can be prevented in which the inside air conditioner is subjected to a cooling and dehumidifying operation and the outside air conditioner is subjected to the heating and humidifying operation.

  • Patent number: 11181285
Abstract: A control unit determines, on the basis of a temperature and humidity detected by sensors, whether outdoor air cooling that takes outdoor air into a room is effective. Upon determination that the outdoor air cooling is effective, the control unit opens a damper and causes stoppage of an air supply fan disposed in an air supply path. Due to such operation, indoor air passing through an air discharge path bypasses a total heat exchanger by passing through a bypass air path, and thereby is discharged to the outdoors as exhaust air. However, due to stoppage of the air supply fan, although the outdoor air does not flow through the air supply path, the outdoor air flows into a building from an opening of the building.

  • Patent number: 11131476
Abstract: In an air conditioning system, a cooling tower cools cooling water. A chiller generates cold water using the cooling water cooled by the cooling tower. A cooling water circulation passage circulates cooling water between the cooling tower and chiller. A first heat exchanger exchanges heat between air and the cold water generated by the chiller. A cold water circulation passage circulates the cold water between the chiller and first heat exchanger. A second heat exchanger exchanges heat between a portion of the cooling water cooled by the cooling tower and air heat-exchanged with the cold water. A cooling water branch passage, branching from the cooling water circulation passage, introduces to the second heat exchanger the portion of the cooling water introduced to the chiller from the cooling tower, and introduces to the cooling water circulation passage the portion of the cooling water heat-exchanged with air by the second heat exchanger.

  • Patent number: 10935269
Abstract: A ventilator includes an exhaust air duct for exhausting air from an interior space to an outside and a supply air duct for supplying air from the outside to the interior space, and is equipped with a heat exchanger and a defroster. The heat exchanger performs heat exchange between air passing through the exhaust air duct and air passing through the supply air duct. The defroster defrosts, when frost attaches to the heat exchanger, the heat exchanger by, after air flows into the exhaust air duct or the supply air duct, changing a state of the air.
