Abstract: There is provided a method of detecting objects in surroundings of a LiDAR system, the method comprising executing, using a Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) model, an iterative process for automatically generating a target density parameter for an in-use point cloud, the executing including acquiring a performance score from an object detection model; generating, using the MCMC model, a new candidate density parameter based on the performance score and a previous candidate density parameter; during a subsequent iteration, updating, using the MCMC model, the new candidate density parameter, thereby determining the target density parameter, the updating being based on a new performance score and the new candidate density parameter; generating, using a density adjustment function, a modified in-use point cloud; and generating, using the object detection model, a predicted output indicative of detected objects in the surroundings using the modified in-use point cloud.

Abstract: A preparation method for silicon dioxide, controls temperature, pH and stirring rate in steps of preparing a silicon dioxide solution to exert an influence on the stability of a silicon dioxide solution gel system. The prepared silicon dioxide solution has a low viscosity, and finally prepared silicon dioxide has a high dispersity. The prepared silicon dioxide solution with a low viscosity will not adhere to a reaction tank, thus being easy to discharge. When the silicon dioxide prepared by the preparation method is used for preparing a toothpaste, since the silicon dioxide shows high dispersity due to its large BET specific area, low oil absorption and low viscosity, paste of the prepared toothpaste is not prone to caking and can be rinsed off easily. The paste of the prepared toothpaste shows high stability in a follow-up test of the viscosity stability of the toothpaste, thus being suitable for long-term storage.

The disclosed ZIF nanoparticles with dual-defect structures comprise: a metal ion coordinated with organic ligands, including an imidazolate-based organic ligand and an alkylamine-based organic ligand. The alkylamine-based organic ligand is further defined by the inclusion of two distinct alkylamines-a first alkylamine and a second alkylamine characterized by different alkyl chain lengths.

Abstract: A digital technology transfer system transforms technology transfer documents to a set of digitized manufacturing procedures and operations documentation. The system can leverage generative artificial intelligence (AI) and associated trained custom models to transform a technology transfer document to a hierarchical structured model representing a package, or product to be manufactured, and the process for manufacturing the product. The resulting package model can be integrated into a larger model representing an ecosystem of manufacturing entities and plant facilities by assigning steps of the manufacturing process to one or more selected production lines. To reduce dependency on custom-built parsers for each type of document format, the system leverages generative artificial intelligence (AI) and associated trained models to extract and organize document content, and to map the document content to appropriate target data structures that can be consumed by control systems and devices.
