  • Patent number: 9265030
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of receiving a multimedia broadcast/multicast service in a user equipment of a wireless communication system based on MBSFN transmission and a method of assisting the user equipment to receive the service in the corresponding base station; wherein the user equipment receives a transport block from the base station in a predefined period; and then judges whether a notification indicator in the transport block is activated, if so, then judges whether a service identification of a multimedia broadcast/multicast service subscribed to by the user equipment is included in a transport block including a control signaling in the transport block, if so, then receives the multimedia broadcast/multicast service. By implementing the present invention, a user terminal in IDLE mode only needs a predefined period such as a DRX period to wake up to receive the notification indicator to judge whether a new service will start without waking up at extra time.

  • Publication number: 20160011268
Abstract: A motor fault detecting method and a motor fault detecting system are provided. An electrical frequency and sensing current data of a brushless motor is obtained. An empirical mode decomposition (EMD) is performed on the sensing current data to obtain intrinsic mode functions (IMF). A feature IMF is obtained from the IMFs, in which the feature IMF is feature current data, and a frequency of the feature current data complies with the electrical frequency of the brushless motor. An electrical impedance is calculated according to an input voltage of the brushless motor and the feature current data. The electrical impedance is compared with a reference electrical impedance to determine if the brushless motor is abnormal. The reference electrical impedance is calculated according to training sensing current data of a training brushless motor which is in a healthy state. Accordingly, whether the brushless motor is abnormal is effectively determined.

  • Publication number: 20150273604
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for joining or sealing two workpieces together are described herein that automatically detect and record positions along a material joining or sealing path where the finished joint is unacceptable. While the joint is being formed, a sensor can scan the joint to determine joint quality based on surface geometry of the joint. If portions are determined to be unacceptable based upon surface geometry, the positions along the joining path are recorded into memory and an inspection and/or repair path is generated and selectively executed to inspect and/or repair the detected fault in the joint.
