  • Patent number: 11391335
Abstract: A braking band of a disc for disc brake includes a first plate and a second plate, arranged facing each other so as to form a gap, a plurality of connecting elements and/or spacers having a plurality of connecting fins, each extending between a radially inner peripheral portion and a radially outer peripheral portion of the braking band along a longitudinal fin direction, coinciding with the longitudinal development axis of the connecting fin. Some connecting fins extend along a longitudinal fin direction and comprise an arched stretch having a concavity kept in the same sense along the entire longitudinal extension of the arched stretch, defining ventilation channels. The first plate inner surface has a plurality of first plate protrusions projecting into the gap from the first plate inner surface towards the second plate. The second plate inner surface has a plurality of second plate protrusions projecting into the gap from the second plate inner surface towards the first plate.

  • Patent number: 11384806
Abstract: A braking band of a disc for disc brake has a first plate and a second plate, a group of connecting fins connecting the first plate and the second plate, defining a module (M) repeated according to a circumferential direction (C-C). The first fin extends along a first longitudinal direction between a radially inner edge and a radially outer edge forming a circumferentially arched first stretch of first fin having a first concavity (R13) kept in the same sense along the entire extension of the first stretch of first fin in the first longitudinal direction, a circumferentially arched second stretch of first fin having a second concavity (R14), a circumferentially arched third stretch of first fin, and a circumferentially arched fourth stretch of first fin. The second fin develops along a second longitudinal direction between the radially inner edge and the radially outer edge. The first fin is shorter than the second fin.

  • Publication number: 20220206476
Abstract: Systems and methods for addressing gaps in an industrial operation due to operator variability are disclosed herein. In one aspect of this disclosure, a method for addressing gaps in an industrial operation due to operator variability includes processing input data received from one or more data sources to identify a best operator of a plurality of operators responsible for managing the industrial operation, and determining if one or more gaps exist in the economic operation of the industrial operation due to operator variability between the best operator and operators other than the best operator. Identified gaps may be analyzed to determine if relevant characteristics associated with the gaps justify at least one solution for addressing the gaps for the particular industrial operation. At least one solution may be identified and mapped to the gaps in some instances.

  • Publication number: 20220206481
Abstract: Systems and methods for benchmarking operator performance for an industrial operation are disclosed herein. In one aspect of this disclosure, a method for benchmarking operator performance for an industrial operation includes receiving input data relating to the industrial operation from one or more data sources, and processing the input data to measure operator effectiveness and build a data repository for benchmarking/analytics. The data repository may include information relating to the measured operator effectiveness, for example. Biggest contributors of operator variability may be identified based on an analysis of the data repository, and one or more actions may be taken to reduce or eliminate the biggest contributors of operator variability.

  • Publication number: 20220156732
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed in which data associated with a transaction are protected with encryption. At an access device, a PIN associated with a payment account may be encrypted with a first key derived from an initial key of the access device and sensitive data associated with the payment account may be encrypted with a second key derived from the initial key. At a secure module associated with a host server encrypted sensitive data of an authorization request message may be decrypted. The secure module associated with the host server can re-encrypt the sensitive data using a zone encryption key associated with a payment processing network. A translated authorization request message including the re-encrypted sensitive data can be transmitted by the merchant server to the payment processing network.
